"We were traveling with our small dog and were so glad we reserved Country Inn and Suites. The staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly. Our suite was roomy and clean. It’s nice to have a fridge when traveling. It was quiet me there is a great Mexican restaurant at the edge of the property. If you can’t do stairs, try for a room on the first floor. There is only 1 elevator and it wasn’t close to our room. We enjoyed our stay and will book it again when we are headed south."

"We loved the open concept kitchen, dining table, and family room. We were all together when we were inside. We also played games in the evening on the deck off the main floor. We were happy to have plenty of chairs and invited friends from a couple coves down to play "Mind the Gap" in our generational teams. I was glad I didn't bring my elderly mother this year because she could not have navigated the steps. For the rest of us, our legs are stronger! "

"Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. The management team is responsive and delightful. A great place for a family vacation. "

"Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!!!! Your home is stunning! It was absolutely perfect for our family. Lots of room for little ones to run around and our grandbabies loved the pool. The adults also enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table. My favorite room was the porch off of the kitchen. So peaceful. We even had six young bucks come to eat the grass a few times. And the dock allowed us to rent a pontoon boat to enjoy for the week."

"This house has everything a family needs to relax and enjoy Smith Mountain Lake. The quiet cove make it feel safe while sitting on the large dock and watching children play in the small beach area. Hours of entertainment outside easily moved into comfort and amenities inside. No one ever felt on top of each other while we visited, prepared meals and played tournaments of foosball. The hosts have many special touches to truly help the vacation experience. Best vacation ever!"
