"We loved our time there, even though we had bad coughs and colds the whole time! We had finished a 2-week trip with friends in Turkey and Greece, and this was our special "couple time" to celebrate a big anniversary - but we had gotten sick the week before. Still, Jimmy and the staff at the hotel did a WONDERFUL job providing and caring for us, and it was such a special time. I couldn't recommend a hotel higher! And if you're going to be stuck in bed, this is the place to be. :-)"

"This is a very unique medieval castle and the rooms we stayed in were full of amazing character, beautiful architecture and stylish furniture. The staff were amazing, so warm and welcoming, I could not rate them more highly. They went out of their way to care for us. The breakfast every morning was fantastic, just about everything you could want was there and delicious. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for luggage. A very enjoyable experience. "

"Conveniently placed at the bus station from Athens. The staff were nice. Clean room with view of the Monemvasia itself. Quiet room despite having a bar on the ground floor. Very good value for the price."

"Parking may be tough but great place to stay if touring the castle. Walk to the top, you won't regret the views. Explore and hit Byron's wine cave. April is a great time to visit."

"I cannot think of a single thing I did not like about this place. We stayed one night but really wish we were here longer to enjoy the facility. The staff upon arrival came out to the parking area to greet us, they then helped us unload our bags from the car. They took us to the lobby where they had prepared a light snack for us. When we finished the snack they showed us to our room on the second floor. Since there is no elevator to the second floor they carried our bags up to the room for us. The room was immaculate beautifully decorated , the bed was very very comfortable and had a wonderful firm mattress. They made suggestions for dinner near by and we were not disappointed in the least. The next morning we had breakfast at their buffet food was great. We relaxed by the pool sun bathing. When we were ready to check out they came back upstairs and carried our bags to our car and helped to reload the car. When in the area this is the place to stay. "

"Amazing cottage within the castle village. Oozing with old charm character of the yesteryear. It’s close to the gate, so not much walking through the cobblestone laneways with suitcases. Very clean and excellent communication considering our late arrival. Thank you! "
