"Clean spacious house, friendly guy despite the language barrier. Everything was there in the house that you needed. Stair gates needed at the bottom aswell as the top due to the stairs for small children. The road down to the house isn't for the faint hearted. Quite a steep walk up to the pool. It was a shame we didn't get to use the other facilities. The views were splendid and lovely walks."

The wildlife was just fantastic, watching the swifts give such a display by the pool, and a very close display of kites and buzzards as the farmer was cutting the grass - just incredible. "The house and grounds so beautifully curated and maintained by the owner Thierry is an absolute joy to stay in. Wildlife abounds - deer appearing in the field, butterflies, birds of prey, geckos and the star of the show the midwife toad whose sonar like call will astonish! Monein is good for provisions but you may need to travel further afield for more entertainment.
