Silver Leaves - Mediterranean Hideaway

SIMPLICITY, ELEGANCE AND SMALL PLEASURES.
Sometimes the greatest pleasures in life come from simple things: a walk in the fields, a snack cake, a moment of relaxation at sunset, in the shade of an old olive tree.
On the hills of Moneglia, a pearl awarded every year the "Blue Flag" - for the quality of beaches and water - and the "Orange Flag", as a village among the most beautiful in Italy, in one of the loveliest spots Liguria, halfway between Portofino and Cinque Terre, the house stands leaves Silver.
Immersed in the green and silver of the olive trees, hence the name of the home, the house "Silver" Leaves is the perfect retreat from the hustle of downtown, a place to indulge your senses with the aroma of lemon trees, oranges and cherries.
Recently completely restored, the unit is equipped and equipped with all comforts.
The outdoor area / garden boasts a unique panoramic view of the Gulf of Moneglia and is equipped with a bench, chairs and garden tables.
The house is equipped with:
- a new kitchen complete with appliances (hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer);
- 2 private bathrooms both with hairdryer, toiletries and walk-in shower
In the common areas you will also have WIFI, welcome set, double flat screen satellite TV, double sofa, iron and ironing board, kettle.
On-site parking is private and free.

It will be a pleasure to welcome, accommodate and collaborate to make you spend the most pleasant and relaxing stay. We speak English, Spanish and Italian.

The house "Leaves d'Argento" is 2 km from the center of Moneglia and the beach, 23 km from Portofino, 30 km from La Spezia and 50 km from the nearest airport, Genoa-Sestri Airport.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen: Sie ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, sie war sehr sauber und die Terrasse ist herrlich (wir haben dort immer gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen). Nicht zu vergessen: Der Vermieter ist großartig. Als unser Auto für zwei Tage ausfiel, hat er meine Frau, mich und unsere 3 Kinder ein paar Mal zum Strand gefahren und auch wieder abgeholt. Selbst um 20.30 Uhr hat er mich einmal spontan aus Moneglia abgeholt, als ich wider Erwarten keine andere Möglichkeit auftun konnte.

Coastal visit

Our overall experience was wonderful. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The outside space had a lovely view and was a peaceful space to relax and unwind with beautiful landscaping. Moneglia is a quiet coastal community and a great spot to explore from by car bus or train.Access to the home was impacted by the costal road being shut so we had to enter from the hills road which was a little confusing at first. The roads are very narrow so you need to be a confident driver who is good at reversing as needed. You definitely get used to it but just to be aware. The house is on the hillside a good 30min walk from Moneglia and the return is uphill so a car is helpful. Nice local restaurant within a 10min walk. Perfect getaway but the location is outside of the town.

A very updated and beautifully situated apartment

The apartment is very clean and appears to have been very recently updated as everything appears new. The check in process could not be easier. Parking and driving take some getting used to for Americans, but you do and it is well worth it. The views from the rooms and the patio are spectacular. We found it extraordinarily quiet at night. Moneglia is a gem.

Wonderful stay in lovely Moneglia

We are glad to have stayed the last two weeks in this beautiful property above Moneglia. The house, the Garden and especially the views are fantastic. Everything was very clean, the house well-equipped and we felt totally comfortable from the first moment on. Michael is a gentle host. Moneglia is a perfect place to start your exploration of the Ligurian coast especially to Portofino or Cinque Terre. As there is so much to see there, we will definitely return in the future.

Room with a View

We loved waking up to the view each morning and the sound of church bells. The house has everything that could be desired if you're looking for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. The small beach town of Moneglia is charming - full of Italian families . . . grandparents, parents, children - it's so much nicer than the more touristy towns of Liguria. Traumhafte Lage, kleine schicke Wohnung , sehr freundlicher Gastgeber

Wir haben uns bei Michelle sehr wohl gefüllt. Wir waren zu 6. für 2 Nächte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Von dem kleinen Garten aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Außer genug Weingläser war alles da was man für einen Kurztrip so braucht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Beautiful villa with wonderful view

The house and the outside garden and patio were just as advertised and very comfortable, fresh, like-new, and offered beautiful views of the sea and the mountain-side. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms worked very well for the number of people we were, and the amenitites were very complete. The host and owner Michele was available, very helpful and made every effort to ensure we had all the information, everything we needed, and more, to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Not having a car, we used the public transportation that was available, and as the weather was perfect, we enjoyed many walks. The town of Moneglia is charming, well-located in Liguria, close and easy to get to the Cinque Terre, Portofino, Pisa, and Tuscany, and the beach is beautiful. The place overall is idyllic. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there, and would highly recommend it. Thank you Michele, from Jean and Anna in Canada.

Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, alles perfekt. Mit sehr schönem Garten.

Perfekt, sauber, ruhig, schöne Aussicht, netter Vermieter. Nur die Fahrt zum Haus ist schon recht abenteuerlich. Doch man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Danke Michele, alles war perfekt. Wir können das Haus nur weiter empfehlen. Und der Vermieter verkauft auch noch sehr leckeres, aus eigenem Anbau, Olivenöl.👍☀️😋

Super Wohnung

Die Wohnung sieht aus wie auf den Bildern. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend (z.B. schnelle Unterstützung bei Fragen). Die Aussicht vom Garten ist grandios. Nur die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Mit etwas Übung ist aber auch das zu meistern.

Ottimo

La nostra breve vacanza si è svolta nei primissimi giorni di maggio. Michele si è dimostrato fin da subito molto gentile e premuroso, ci ha anche dato degli ottimi consigli pratici su cosa fare e dove mangiare. La casa si trova in una località poco distante dal paese, raggiungibile in auto lungo una stradina a tratti un pò stretta e tortuosa. L'edificio si trova su un pendio all'estremità di un piccolo gruppetto di case, circondata da orti e ulivi. Posto auto nelle adiacenze. Luogo molto tranquillo e vista davvero spettacolare sul mare e sul paese. L'appartamento ci è sembrato fin da subito molto curato e luminoso. Arredato con gusto e attrezzato di tutto il necessario. Pulizia impeccabile. Ci mancavano soltanto le cose essenziali per cucinare (aceto, sale, pepe, caffè) che siamo comunque riusciti a rimediare subito (di domenica) in uno dei negozietti di Moneglia. Letti comodi, giardino molto carino e curato, di cui però abbiamo usufruito poco. Nel complesso direi ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, consiglierei questa esperienza anche ad altri e anche alle famiglie con bambini.

Entspannung pur im November

Die Fotos und Angaben stimmen exakt mit der Ferienwohnung überein. Die Ausblicke aus den Zimmern grandios! Insgesamt ist die großzügige Wohnung sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Da wir im November die Wohnung gemietet hatten, haben wir die Heizung (modern und einfach zu bedienen, mit Tag- und Nachteinstellung) benötigt - allerdings nur nachts. Tagsüber konnte man sogar noch den Garten genießen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und wir haben dort sehr gut geschlafen. Der späte Reisezeitpunkt hat uns vor einem Gedränge auf den zahlreichen Wanderwegen bewahrt. Die Kehrseite dieser Medaille war, dass viele Restaurants und teilweise auch Läden zum Saisonende geschlossen hatten. Unser Tip: immer zuerst anrufen, ob das Restaurant geöffnet ist (zum Teil ist in dieser Zeit unter der Woche auch nur mittags geöffnet und abends geschlossen). In der Touristinfo im Ort gibt es eine kostenlose Wanderkarte mit sehr gut ausgeschilderten Wegen. Viele Touren haben wir mit der Eisenbahn unternommen. Ein Bahnhof befindet sich direkt unten im Ort. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich sowie hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Das Olivenöl aus dem Anbau des Vermieters ist hervorragend und sehr zu empfehlen.

Hübsche Ferienwohnung mit sagenhaftem Blick

Selten hat mich ein Blick aus Schlafzimmer oder Garten so in den Bann gezogen wie hier. Ein olivgrünes Meer an Bäumen, mit idyllischer Kapelle auf der Höhe, das schöne Örtchen Moneglia im Tal und das Meer mit endlosem Horizont. Ein traumhafter Garten zum Liegen, relaxen, erholen, lesen, mit bequemer Sitz-Hängematte. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, eine gut eingerichtete Küche, schönes Bad, Waschmaschine, und ein total bequemes Bett! Michele ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und netter Gastgeber der einem tolle Tips gibt zu Unternehmungen, idyllischen Plätzchen in der Gegend und wo man gut Essen kann und einem immer hilfreich zur Seite steht. Wonderful place with amazing view

We really loved this spacious and wonderful place. It has a beautiful view over Moneglia and the Ocean. The area in the mountains is very quiet and relaxing. The owner is very helpful. Fascino liguria in una casa di gran classe.

La casa è ampia, l'arredamento è di livello ben superiore rispetto alla media, finiture che rendono ancora più affasciante la già spettacolare posizione sulla vallata verso Moniglia, distante 5 minuti d'auto. I punti di forza sono ovviamente due delle tre camere da letto e il giardino arredato anche qua con gusto e cura. Michele è stato utile con i suoi consigli e le precise indicazioni mentre Emanuela è stata attenta e disponibile ad accontentare le nostre richieste.

Toller Erholungsurlaub mit wunderschöner Ferienwohnung

Wir haben im Juni eine tolle Woche in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich (kurvige enge Straße), dafür ist die Location phantastisch mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer in einem Olivenhain gelegen. Die Ferienwohnung ist ruhig gelegen, sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man zur Versorgung in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Besonders gefallen hat uns der grandiose Ausblick aus dem Schlafzimmer auf das nahe gelegene Meer und der ausgesprochen gepflegte mediterane Garten, mit verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten (inkl. Tisch mit Stühlen zum draußen essen, Liegen). Wir fanden insbesondere auch nachts die Glühwürmchen wunderschön und lauschten der Nachtigall. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhafte Lage

Sehr schöne Wohnung in traumhafter Lage. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Ausblick ein Traum. Sehr netter Vermieter, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Die Anfahrt ist ein Abenteuer aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Haben die Zeit genossen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Ausblick

Der richtige Ort für einen entspannten Urlaub...nachdem wir uns an die engen und steilen Straßen gewöhnt hatten (was aber selbst uns Flachlandtirolern relativ schnell gelang). Gut ausgestattetes Haus mit tollem Ausblick ins Tal. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Immer wieder gerne.

Great two weeks stay

Very nice and cosy place and surrounding. Great landlord and good communication. The streets to the house are very narrow but one gets used to it. We travelled in the region between Portofino and LaSpezia and there is a lot to see! If you come in the high season please make sure that you book private beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas well in advance (2-3 months ahead of your stay. In August all beaches were booked out but we were lucky to find one beach in Sestri Levante (100m right from bagni Liguria, has yellow umbrellas and a beach volleyball court.) Plenty of good restaurants in the area and friendly people. Make sure you vistit Rapallo and Portofino! Amazing places! Looking forward to come back one day!
