"This Hotel was very overpriced for starters. $500 Australian a night we should of received five star and a beautiful hotel. Instead we recieved a dirty very old hotel with a Sofa that was that bad it was replaced upon request. All cooking utensils, wine glass ( that's right glass) and pans were in such a condition that they were also replaced upon request. We also found a jar of Marujana in a tea jar that need to be removed by staff. Only plus was the location. "

"The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. "

The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. The house is gorgeous and totally unique and we had everything we needed. Lots of hikers to Portofino (and it was the off season!) passing by, but I would take the trails instead of the road if...

"Riomaggiore is a lovely spot and this apartment is a mere 50 stairs up, which in a city of lots of climbing means it is a very convenient location. We were greeted nicely and communication for check-in was excellent, even though we arrived later than planned. "The house is as lovely as it looks in the photos. It has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The views were spectacular overlooking the sea and mountains. The hosts are available and friendly and even though it is attached to another vacation house they have made it easy for all with separate parking and entrances so you feel like you are in a private place. You definitely need a car in this area. The roads are winding and drop offs steep as one would expect in the mountains. Two towns...

"The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and mostly private. Not sure if the apartment above is a rental but the people were extremely noisy. Check in was a bit of an issue as the sat nav said we had arrived and we were still about a mile away. Luckily we texted the manager and he came and found us. The pool was beautiful and the manager came most days to clean it and sweep the garden. I would certainly recommend staying here. Oh, and the view was exceptional. Thank you"
