"The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"We were 5 and stayed in the 8 beds room. The heater was switched on and beds were made when we arrived late in the afternoon. Aitor was there to welcome us and gave us a tour of the house which was recently renovated in mid 2022. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was the best we had during our 5 days trip in Pais Vasco. We ordered dinner from a local takeaway as we were too tired to go out. "Lovely casa rural, sympathetically restored to provide comfortable accommodation. Especially enjoyed the view of the goats from our room. Lots of information about what to see and do locally. We caught the train from Bermeo up the estuary to Gernika, a lovely trip."

"It was deep in snow when we arrived and my husband didn’t believe the sat nav so we were lost, we called the hotel and the owner actually got in his car in the snow and came and found us knowing we had an English number plate, well impressed! "Bonita casa rural con vistas a la campiña y al mar. A unos 10 mins en coche de Mutriku, tiene un sendero muy agradable que baja hasta el pueblo (unos 25 mins a pie). Nos alojamos en falta de un apartamento funcional bien equipado en general y con las camas cada mañana hechas como si fuera una habitación de hotel. Advertimos algunas carencias en cuanto a menaje -falta de cafetera, exprimidor, vasos- que parcialmente fueron resueltas. Propietario muy agradable. Hay mosquitos en la zona, pero...
