"Quiet situation. The house is on quite a narrow impasse and the gate is not enormous. Anyone with a car larger than ours (Skoda Yeti 1m 75 cm wide) could find it a bit tight getting in and out. There are some parking spaces round the corner. All contact was with the concierge, timely and professional. The sea-facing terrace also faces north and can be bracing, but the one overlooking the garden is quite a sun-trap, and sheltered. There is adequate shopping in Asnelles with a small Carrefour...

"The size and location were good. I had thought that there was private parking but it was actually on the road side. Luckily the road was very quiet. The fittings - furniture, bathroom fittings and kitchen ware - were old and worn. There was lots of crockery but few pieces of cutlery and mugs - unless you wanted chipped or plastic ones. "This is a beautiful house in a lovely town on the Normandy coast. We came to see some of the D-Day landing sites and beaches and as a group of adults really appreciated the size of the house and the fact that all the bedrooms were pretty equal in size with modern bathrooms. "The property was obviously brand new and the look pretty good. Unfortunately there were a few faults. No washing machine or dryer (which had been advertised in the property details), downstairs toilet leaked water all over the floor when flushed. Exhaust fan over the stove did not work. Shutters in upstairs bedroom did not work. When we asked the property owner if he could fix the toilet and provide washing ability he promised to have corrected the next day.
