"Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel. L'accueil est inadmissible : une fois la réservation effectuée, en arrivant après 18h, un numéro est affiché pour contacter le personnel, mais personne ne répond. Le logement est sale, avec des moisissures partout, des odeurs d'égouts, et on entend des bruits de souris dans les murs. Au moment du départ, même scénario : on arrive à 10h pour rendre les clés, personne à l'accueil et, malgré nos appels, toujours aucune réponse. Ce n'est qu'après une heure...
"A special treat to stay in a chateau, so a bonus to also be able to have dinner there too. We stayed in the chateau itself rather than the renovated outbuildings, which was fun. Lovely buffet breakfast too. Very reasonable too, IMHO."
"It was a little hard to find but the welcome was excellent, the location was in beautiful country, peaceful and unspoilt yet only 2km off the road to Auch. The owner is a wonderful cook so dinner and breakfast were superb with a nice wine menu. The room and bathroom were well decorated, everything to like."

In addition you will be hosted by Christian, very kind and gently owner that will tell nice histories about the castle. "The location was wonderful, the view of Chinon castle was spectacular, central loire valley location in a medieval town with a busy Centreville and close to amenities. The pool was great, as was the balcony overlooking all. The unit was well appointed and large enough. A little tired but it was what i expected for a holiday spot geared towards families. All in all a great stay. "

Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."
"We first stayed at this hotel in 1986 and gave re-visited several times since. The location is fantastic right in the centre and beside the public car park and lift up to the chateau. The hotel has been renovated and extended over the years and is now even has a roof terrace for chilling out in after a days touring/cycling. The owners have changed over the years and the current owners, Romain & Romain, are wonderful friendly hosts, as are the rest of the hotel staff, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. "Very poor attension to opening the breakfast times. I was to open at 7am, but didnt open until 7.45 on a Monday before our teams work. Poor selection of breakfast, no taking care of damp towels in room or the room when returning. Would assume there was cleaning to take place the days I stayed. Over payed for the price it was
