"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse.
Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade...
"The dinner was the best bit and the hosts were kind and welcoming! Everything else was a bit less than average. We were looking for a short stay with a spa and had used the filter in hotels.com to select the B&B. On arrival we were very surprised that the spa is not included in the room we had booked and were forced to upgrade. This was extra strange because the hot tub is not attached to the "suite" as you might expect. Instead its directly next to the main entrance which is also the kitchen....

The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms. But if you’re looking for staying in a genuine old French country cottage, with welcoming owners and good food this place is worth a try. "Good clean reasonably priced fairly new modern hotel with it’s own large secure car park. Comfy bed, good size shower/bathroom, tv & kettle, which is great. Some great artwork (by S.Binet) along the carpeted stairs/corridors, very nice touch. Breakfast was approx euro 11/Pers, which is a fair price, with plenty to choose from, they even supplied gluten free products for my coeliac wife, thank you!"
"Great place to stay and dine. We came late and were still able to get a delicious meal in their restaurant with a glass of wine we were all happy we arrived and felt welcomed. In the morning there were breakfast choices (self-serve) which was great! Nice area to sit outside as well. Room was good too. "
