"We booked the room a long time in advance to make use of the spa facilities. When we arrived we tried to get day access to the spa as specified in hotels.com. We were informed that this was wrong, price was per hour. On insisting, we were told they were fully booked for the day. On insisting further, we were finally offered 2 hours the next morning, but we had to leave and could not make use of the spa. As a note they are still selling day access to the spa on hotels.com. "We stayed here for one night with breakfast. Sitting in the evening outside with candlelight, listen to the frogs in the water bassin, hear the owls in the trees around the park. We spent a beautiful night there. Comfortable rooms, lovely decorated. Beautiful park, arranged with a lot of old and tall trees. Adele told us a lot about the house's and the family's history, made a great brekfast at the terrace and gave us the feeling of coming home. The villa is a 100% proposal for those who love...

"This bed and breakfast was a wonderful place to stay in. The suite was so cozy, clean, and organized. From the pictures and description, it was everything I expected and more. "Words can’t describe how amazing our stay and wedding was at the Palazzo! During the last year of wedding planning Mirella has been in constant communication with us and provided us with an OUTSTANDING wedding and stay. If you’re looking to get married in a 1275 AD palazzo that was formerly inhabited by the Duke or Parma I would HIGHLY recommend this place. "What a find! We went as a large family group, so to have separate apartments for each individual family worked out perfectly for us. Their accommodation was well equipped immaculately clean and comfortable.Some of our part of a clean cyclist, so to any cyclist it’s an absolute Mecca, but you have to like hills! "
"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else.
The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more.
Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better explained in an initial email before arriving. We blocked the road by mistake.
No elevator, for whoever may need that. We were fine.
