"The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders. One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature ..."

Definitely older lodge, but apparently they are working on updating it. Room was very spacious, but no wi-fi. It was available in restaurant and lobby though. Apparently lodge is working on that too. All in all was comfortable stay

There was no other options for dining or anything other than nature near this hotel. So if you want to eat somewhere other than their dining room, it is 18 miles to Salida, Co. Too far if you are deciding to have a cocktail:(
