There are some unique shops and parts of town were quite pretty. The area surrounding the hotel is slummy. Perhaps management could work with neighbors to create an environment that is more aesthetically pleasing.

"Free, fresh cookies upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious. There were three broken elevator buttons and 1 of 2 elevators was broken. Shower door was out of its track. The place needs some cosmetic touchups"

Wonderful place to stay
"We have pretty much stayed at this place for 1.5 years and have had a wonderful time and would go back in a heart beat. Nothing but good things to say about it and we would not be rebooking all the time did we not thoroughly enjoy our stay."

No reason to live or stay in Monahans unless your working in oil field or just passing through.

A lot of oil and gas work and a ton of construction. Maybe once they are finished with everything Monahans will be a nicer place to visit.
