On the first floor, the airy living space includes an L-shaped sofa with a flat-screen TV and a dining table. The decor is contemporary, but the building’s historic features, such as the vaulted ceilings and traditional, double windows have been retained. The separate, sleek kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine and fridge.

The mezzanine bedroom is tucked under the vaulted ceiling. It is furnished with a smart double bed and wardrobe.

For the best local produce, head to the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (3- minute walk). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish, charcuterie etc.
