"We've just returned from a week-long stay and had a lovely relaxing time at the villa. Jo and Aurelie met us on arrival and gave us a good tour of the property, answering questions along the way. They kept in touch regularly over whatsapp as needed, and Jo attended to cleaning the pool and hot tub almost daily. The villa is beautiful and everything has been thought of. "We stayed here three years previously and this time is was just as clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our holiday. The provision of a fan in the bedroom was a very welcome addition for the hot nights. It's in a very quiet location, but convenient for amenities in nearby Ceret and a wealth of walking options. Our only disappointment was that the bat roost that had been in the veranda roof had been blocked up since we were last there - on our last visit we had enjoyed sitting out...

"We had a really wonderful stay. We found the house extremely comfortable with everything we needed provided. It was a luxury to stay somewhere that felt like a real home and with a large sitting room. There was just 4 of us but you could comfortably sleep 8 if couples/family in the 4 bedrooms. "A beautiful modern property the property is well equipped for your stay. The property is in a well elevated position and up a small road but easy to find and greeted by your charming hosts Elisabeth and Pierre. There are shops nearby but not close enough to walk to but that was not a problem for us."

"We had a lovely stay with great cycling and walking in what is a really beautiful area. Su gave us a vast amount of helpful information about the locality. Beds comfortable, modern kitchen, showers great, pool lovely and we enjoyed having plenty of space in the garage for bike storage etc. Boulangerie close by and Lidl also near. Isabelle the local manager dealt with any queries very efficiently."

"Great location and a nice traditional comfortable villa with lots of space for all of us and really well stocked. The outside of the villa looks a little in need of repair in places but very chic and in keeping with the area. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool due to water restrictions but it looked great - also had a few issues with power cuts but they were resolved really quickly by the caretaker and hosts. "La casa es como en las fotos. Muy cómoda y muy agradable. Con muchos detalles que la hacen muy acogedora. Tiene de todo lo que necesitas para una estancia con todo el confort. Cocina equipada, zona exterior para relax y cenador muy coqueto . La casa está a las afueras de Vernet, alejada de ruidos y rodeada de naturaleza y las montañas. Está justo a los pies del Canigó. Y es un punto fantástico de inicio de rutas saliendo a pie desde la casa.Y a la vez muy bien situada para visitar otros pueblos...
