This 12th century basaltic temple devoted to Lord Shiva was built during the Kadamba period and has survived a very violent destructive religious intolerance. It's located deep inside the vast Bhagwan Mahaveer wildlife sanctuary and is a quaint peaceful place to visit.

"The staff are so friendly. The vegetarian restaurant was excellent. Food was great. The staff also in restaurant were great. Very good serving attitude.
