"I spent a long weekend here with my parents, friends and family and had the most amazing time. It's well located, bigger than it looks in the listing, clean, with all the modern amenities you could hope for. Although we didn't get to use the pool due to the weather, it served as a great backdrop (together with the incredible view) for our time spent at the house. The game room was also a great touch and proved to be a hit for some post-dinner rounds of ping pong!"

"Everything was as advertised ,clean and functional. The host went out of her way to make sure that my experience was first class and it was. A big shout out to her neighbor who pitch hit for her When she hurt her leg. It’s very close to the train station maybe five minutes by car and it made the right into Douro very very easy."

"This is a two level unit in an old village parish. Fortunately we were able to get some check-in help from the nearby government office. Staff was so nice! Dining options are limited. Fantastic views surround the village. Recommended!"

"Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal...

"We found the house easily. We loved the location. Lamego was close by with grocery stores, shopping and some lovely cultural sights. We were able to get to other places we wanted to see (Braga, Regua, Viseu) easily also. The kitchen was nicely equipped. We love to cook on vacation and this kitchen had all we needed. We ran out of gas one night and the host responded quickly and had someone at the house to change it within a half hour. Couple things to note - the listing says spa tub but there...
