"This is an older place but fantastic!! The best beds EVER pricey hotel chains don’t compare the to comfort of these beds. Very clean excellent value."

"Vilma and Erasmo were warm, generous, and helpful hosts. My husband arrived with a cold and Vilma brought us both Airborne. She also had orange-cranberry muffins for our breakfast. The house was very well-stocked with coffee, tea, laundry detergent, and lots of extras like sunscreen, beach towels, sun hats, and coolers. Vilma gave us dinner recommendations. The barbecue place was fantastic. We didn’t get to the Cuban place, but we discovered a great Portuguese restaurant named TUGA. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the morning. The house was a good home base for our ventures into the Everglades and the Keys. We were completely pleased with our stay. "

"Overall, it was nice. Just a couple little things the back door to the pool would not stay shot, the light out in the pool, coffee pot in separate bedroom off the garage did not work and probably the most glaring thing was the location. Not in a really good neighborhood and a longer drive to the beach. "

"Was the worst hotel we have stayed out. Smelled, sticky floors, unsafe. Door lock set and had to return to front desk to say that happens sometimes. Black mold in shower. Scared to sleep on bedding. Curtains stained yellow. Room smelled like smoke."

"When we arrived to check in, there was a young family with three kids already there who had booked it that day. We called "Christopher" and he did not know what happened, was flummoxed as to what to do, and not very helpful. Our reservations were made 2 months plus earlier but we could not see forcing the young family out and they were also adamant about not leaving since they had been drinking and were not in a condition to leave. We finally voluneered to find other alternatives for three days (the other family's booking) and would then return. Christopher assured us we would be compensated. After a week of badgering after we had left the house, I finally got a note from Christopher saying we would be getting a 450 refund, When it finally showed up on our credit card, the amount was 387. We got no apologies or thanks for our gesture of leaving. We got no additional monies beyond the daily rate refund. According to what Christopher told us, VRBO was not cooperative nor helpful.Having said all this, once we were in the house, it was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was pretty sparse in supplies and there were no condiments of any type, even salt and pepper. Had probably the nicest leather couches I have ever seen, let alone in a rental house."
