"This property could so easily be a 10. It has a beautiful oceanfront setting with a picturesque paths to the beach, gas fireplaces, balconies overlooking the ocean, well/maintained entirely must-free hot tub…However, there are flaws. First and foremost, a life safety issue: for some reason the builder/architect sunk the LR one shallow step below the entry and the kitchen and then put the same stone tile on the entire floor, a rookie mistake creating a serious trip and fall risk. They tried to mitigate with now-worn hazard tape on the edge of the step - but if carrying a box, or blinded by the sun streaming in the western sliding doors, or wearing progressive lenses, all bets are off. Two of us stumbled and my wife fell on the stone floor. Carpeting the LR both to create a contrast at the step and a softer fall is desperately needed. Renters should be aware that 1) the second upstairs bedroom has to use the bath on the first floor, and 2) there is no cellular reception at least for the Verizon network, so WiFi calling is used, and if the internet goes out (as it did briefly), there is no way to call 911 or the cable company without going to the main road.Better maintenance would help. A power wash of the decks/railings/garage is needed Cutting boards fuzzy from long use and shedding microplastics and Teflon-shedding pans need to be replaced. Porch lights are out and the landing at the foot of the outside stairs is broken."

"our room had a wonderful ocean view you could stare at all day. the stair case to the beach was good exercise and well maintained. The drivable Moclips beach was a first for my wife and I. Some rooms are being renovated insuring this Washington gem will be a destination well into the future. Hoping to return."

"We love this property, we stayed there last year, and it works nice for our family. We noticed improvements like flooring and the replacement of the huge entertainment center with a flat screen tv attached to wall. It gives a much more clean and open feel! It would be nice if you included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bath."

"Winters is a modern property that is well maintained and attractive. It's a real home away from home and a great location for exploring the beach - a 2 min walk - Quinault Lodge - a 45 min drive to escape the marine layer and Seabrook. We cooked meals, used the laundry and spent every evening in the hot tub with the grandkids. On our first morning we realized the coffee maker was kaput - contacted Rick and the team, and came home to a new one on by the front door - can't say better than that.We stayed at Seabrook last year but prices have gone crazy - we got most of the benefits of Seabrook - including their excellent supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants but not pools - for a fraction of the price. Moclips is quiet and relaxing and when we come back we'll stay at Winters."

"We had a memorable weekend with five adults and one dog. We were worried about one bathroom, but it worked out great. The house is the perfect location on the beach and is nice and quiet. The only hiccup we ran into was that the igniter did not work on the grill. We left a lighter behind for the next guests. Great time was had by all. We will be back."
