"Booked this as a really last minute stay and was pleasantly surprised. Location was a reasonable walk from Ikebukuro JR Rail Station; about a 5 minute walk. There's a 7/11 on the first floor, and a Denny's restaurant on the second floor. Both are reasonable breakfast/food options in terms of quality and price. The laundry service was a lifesaver, although there is a minor charge for detergent and machine use. During our stay it was 100yen for the detergent, 200yen for the washer, and 100yen for every 30 minutes in the dryer. For us 30 minutes was not enough to thoroughly dry so we would suggest putting 60minute for the dryer. Coffee, tea (cold and hot) and microwave are also available 24/7. Be careful of the paper cups as the hot beverage option is VERY hot. Also, keep in mind that their check-in is not 24/7. When we visited, check-in closed at 11pm so plan around what time you will be arriving in Ikebukuro. "

Pricing is good and it's really convenient as it's near several good stores you can buy basics from and it's right next to the train station so you have access to get to anywhere you want to in Tokyo. The free breakfast was good too. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. I will be booking this hotel again for my next stay in Tokyo. "
