Cute and a little funky
This place is great if you want an economical stay that's walkable to downtown and you don't mind a few things that are a little funky.
The neighborhood is overall quiet and charming with a little coffee shop that just opened up right behind the apartment. Be aware that the trains are indeed loud! Especially in the middle of the night. When the cars connect, it creates a loud boom that may wake you up if you're a light sleeper, even with earplugs and a white noise maker.
The place is overall clean and well stocked. Lots of little amenities, such as candles and a decent little pantry stocked up from previous guests. Be aware that we did encounter a fair amount of pet hair, which could be an issue for you if you're allergic. Oh -- also be aware that the bed is fairly soft in case you have a bad back. And the filters on the AC units maybe need to be cleaned? We definitely experienced more than our fair share of allergies and weren't sure why.
The manager, Molly is fairly responsive and happy to take care of any kind of issues. (Note: Follow the directions and leave the spare key in its holder on the door so you don't get locked out!) We had some trouble getting the remote to work for the TV and she was more than happy to help us out.
Overall, the place is cute and more than adequate, especially if you're going to be out and about enjoying all that Missoula has to offer.
