"I couldn't believe how beautiful the grounds and how much lake access the villa had. I would highly recommend. We felt like we had place to ourselves, as we rarely saw other owners. Only comment on finding gate, is once you see Mandarin gate and check-in roadside, you will be looking for similar gate just up road at end of Mandarin property"

"This house was the perfect getaway for our family of 6. The house had plenty of room for us all and had all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the screened in porch and hanging out on the terrace outside that has a beautiful view of the lake. The house has AC which we really appreciated during that hot July week. This spot is an easy 5 minute walk to San Giovanni where there is a great cafe, delicious restaurant, and great swimming/boating spot. Then it’s just a 30 minute walk or 10...

"Beautiful home with two gorgeous terraces. The shower is a bit tight but the main bathroom is overall very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. Live like a local at this villa!"

"There’s no question it’s a beautiful home overlooking Lake Como, with a charm that is remjniscent of something out of a Harry Potter novel. Unfortunately, the home itself self has a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Lightbulbs were burned out in master bathroom, the door handle on the washing machine was broken, certain shutters didn’t work, there is no air conditioning in any room and some of the wiring is unlikely to be up to code, although I dont know that for sure. "Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. Owner communication was excellent! We loved our stay!!!"

"It was much as I had expected, very clean, good views over the valley and excellent communication with Monia, the owner. We succeeded in stealing a key and a mirror and leaving a pair of glasses behind, all of which are finding their way back. Monia is even paying my parking fine for me as I have no idea how to do it and want to remain law abiding!! A great holiday!! PS. Take her advice re going to the Canottieri rowing club for meals. Great again."

"Location is extremely close to train station which makes it a breeze getting in and out of Milan. Staff was nice, apartment had amazing views and well stocked with everything you could need. Only negative would be the limited time for check in. If you don’t make it by the time (we didn’t, our plane didn’t land in time) you have to go around the block to check in/get your keys."
