The location is in a charming district near Kyoto university. "Unfortunately the only good part of my stay was how comfortable the bed was, but it stops short after that. It's so extremely dirty that I barely wanted to touch anything in the place, the common areas are also extremely dirty so it's not an inviting place to relax. "

"Perfect for short term stay in Kyoto. Accessible to Gojo and Kyoto station, good food in the immediate area (check out Ishisei!) and the check in/out process is super easy. Room was clean and had a deep bathtub. Futon was a little thin but that appears to be the norm in most inexpensive hotels. Staff was super friendly and the amenities are great, plus they offer a lot of extra options if you're interested."
