The property was in the perfect location/setting for the trip and was in very good order. Everything about the location exceeded expectations.
The host communication was prompt and very helpful. I would highly recommend the property for anyone in the South Bend area.
Felt lucky to find a spot once we found out we won the lottery for playoff tickets! Everything was decorated for Christmas and perfect for our stay. Comfy beds, great kitchen, even had AMAZING gourmet donut balls for us from a bakery upon arrival. Easy in / out to ND for a game (with car). Highly recommend.
My dad and I stayed the weekend here for the Notre Dame game. We traveled all the way from Texas and felt right at home. The cabin was just far away from the chaos of campus traffic but close enough to enjoy everything with a short 10 minute drive to everything.
We loved our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the house was modern and up to date. The host left snacks and some beverages for us to enjoy as well. Communication was great, we will be definitely staying again if its available.
Incredibly clean and well situated cabin in the wood, feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, yet close to everything. A quick drive to South Bend for a Notre Dame game. The beds are incredible, hosts are wonderful and very responsive! A perfect spot for couples or a family! Check in was easy. The cube ice maker was a perfect touch! Will stay again.
Cozy mountain inspired barn-house nestled in the woods. 15 minutes from just about anything in the Mishawaka and south bend area. Quiet area and serene surroundings inside and out. Double queen beds and leather sectional accommodate small group or a couple. Welcoming owners like family and nearby for any resolution of issues.
Great for weekend renting during college sports seasons or even a quick weekend getaway to beat the burbs. Location will be beautiful in fall colors! Highly recommend!
My family and I were in South Bend attending the Ohio State vs. Notre Dame game. This was a perfect spot for our family to stay. It was located about 15-20 minutes from the stadium. It had everything we needed, and Jenny even left us a nice welcome basket on the counter and a fridge full of plenty of options to drink. There was a firepit loaded and ready to have a bonfire. We didn't use it but it was a nice option to have.
The only issue we had was locating the barn the first time. The address didn't pull on my GPS to accurately located the barn. It sits back off the road behind a row of trees so you can't see it. It is the last driveway West of Edna Dr. It has a private drive sign and is right behind the tree row on the right.
After we got there everything was great and I would highly recommend staying here! We will look to stay again if we make it back to South Bend for another game! Go Buckeyes!!
