"The rooms are horribly outdated with a very bad smell. The beds were uncomfortable and linens/pillows were very low quality. The location and surrounding area is creepy so be aware. There is nothing positive to say about this property,
The staff at front desk were very welcoming and helpful, but they cannot overcome the poor quality rooms and facilities."

Beautiful property, expertly maintained by a caring staff on the grounds of Notre Dame University. Can't say enough good things about our visit. Looking forward to returning in the future.

We had a delightful stay at the Oliver House. Tom and Alice are exceptional hosts. Be sure to enjoy dinner at Tippecanoe Restaurant next door... We met two nice couples at breakfast on Saturday morning and that night, after dinner, we sat in a swing on beautiful grounds... soon, fellow guests wandered in from dinner and 6 of us sat visiting in the garden. Before long, Tom cam out and asked if we needed anything... he noted that my husband and I were drinking white wine. He asked if others would...

This was a lovely hotel to stay at. I came in late because I was traveling from Omaha. The neighborhood was safe, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I haven’t made my return plans yet, but this is a strong conversation!

Our favorite place to stay for a Notre Dame Game.
Heather at the front desk and Katrina a manager
are what the hospitality industry is all about and the way it should be.
Can’t say enough about these two young women. Professional, personable, knowledgeable, helpful etc.
The list goes on and on.
Thank you both once again.

PS We talked about the need to bring back the happy hours the night before the game.
I’m sure it will happen.

Staff was super friendly. Rooms were super clean. We stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping came daily to clean and refresh the room without being asked to do so. We will definitely stay again!

The staff was exceptional. Special shout out to Patsy who works the front desk and JoJo who took care of us in the restaurant. Food was also very good. We stayed during COVID because we lost power in our home and we felt very safe. They went above and beyond.
