"This is a well priced place to stay, good for somewhere near to central Perth if you have a car. If you get a room up the front be prepared for significant traffic noise as the Great Eastern Highway is busy day and night. The rooms are well kept and well serviced but the TVs could do with an update. The complex is quite large and busy but it's still a good night's sleep. And excellent value for money. One thing which could be improved is vehicle access - access to a side street so you don't have...

"I admit I chose to stay in the Duxton because I used to work there 40 years ago when it was the tax office. My desk was on the 11th floor so I asked for a room on the 11th floor which I got! Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff, particularly Sara at reception. She is a real asset to the business. Give her a pay rise!"

"The hotel is lovely and conveniently located. The staff were all very pleasant. There was some misleading information on the booking description that was disappointing. There is not a spa on site. As I had booked for that reason, it was a bit irritating. Maybe they will correct that in the listing. Note that the nearest spa will require at least 24 hr advanced booking to accommodate guests of the hotel (with limited availability). Other than that, my stay was excellent. "

"My room was available early and I received a room upgrade, the room facilities were very good and spacious. The inclusion of a Nespresso machine was great. The staff were attentive and friendly at all times and would definitely stay again."

"The room was surprising, as entrance was outside of hotel but still private. Very noisy with kids above. Room was beautiful and clean but the pillows felt ridiculously high. Neither of us slept very well. It would have been nice if they had options in wardrobe. Also only two hangers in wardrobe. Basic accommodation but modern, spacious and clean. (No mimi bar)"

"Very centrally located close to the markets and the foreshore. Having breakfast included is great even if it’s very simple with no eggs although would suggest to offer a few pastries. Room on the small side so 1 or 2 nights stay is okay."
