"The location was perfect - right in front of the sea. It was simply, but thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything we needed - efficient air con and ceiling fan, water on arrival, mosquito net (we didn't get bitten) and there was always someone around to answer any queries. Incense appeared at dusk to deter mosquitoes. The breakfast was lovely, and served in front of the sea - freshly prepared fruits, then pancakes, or omelette with toast and jam, coffee and tea. "Excellent location and beautiful pool, stayed in deluxe room and had no issues, wifi even worked in the room because we were so close to the pool. We were on half board so had are breakfasts and dinners there, buffet style nothing special just good food. The location can not be beat right on the beach in prime position "

"We only stayed for one night however the hotel was lovely. Small boutique hotel right on the beach with lovely pool. You can access the beach and do snorkelling to see turtles and can walk up to the coconut trees. Approx 5 minutes in a tuk tuk to mirissa for a very small fare. Hotel staff went above and beyond for everything we needed. The WiFi worked however wasn’t strong enough in our room for us to fill in our visa for Malaysia so they put a router in our room! "Loved this hotel, great location just far enough away from the very touristy Mirissa Beach. Easy walk or tuk tuk to town. Pool was small but clean & great after a day sightseeing in Galle. Very close to Turtle Beach. Lovely eateries nearby....would recommend restaurant 101, only a few minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"Hotel was rubbish. No way is it a 3 star standard for western prices. WiFi was like a dial up connection. No hairdryer. I had to ask them to clean the room. Hot water if any was occasional. No night watchman. Loud music from bar next door to the right of hotel, beach side, (by the way the bar was rubbish also, staff arrogant and the food terrible - careful you might get food poison) and hotel staff did not offer any assistance nor compensation.
