"The apartment is located near the “Voie Vert” which is a beautiful biking, walking and running trail that is car-free through its 7km length. The neighborhoods of Caluire are all close by. It is definitely worth it to walk and explore the neighborhoods of Caluire. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood yet there are three different TCL bus stops close by that can frequently take you to a number of locations within Lyon - Parc Tete D’Or, Bellecour, Vieux Lyon and more. Though Lyon has many terrific restaurants, we did quite a bit of cooking at the apartment. Fortunately, the apartment was walking distance between two Auchan supermarkets, so fetching groceries was very easy. Two wine stores are also less than 200m away! I run long distances for fun, and Caluire is a terrific place to start and finish from. It is about 26km total from the Caluire-Bourg neighborhood to the confluence of the Saone and Rhône rivers, if you run along the beautiful waterfront paths. The apartment itself receives a lot of sunlight during the day. there is a small desk in the bedroom that made it easy for me to work on my laptop computer. The apartment and the whole town of Caluire-et-Cuire are both very dog-friendly; our visit during the early autumn had nice meals on the restaurant’s terraces. I am so glad the washing machine was there —it made our stay much more practical. Overall I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely stay again if i could."

"Breathtaking view on the terrace, the restaurant, the swimming pool and from the room. The room was very small but the view made up for it. St.-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or was a very nice and quite area. Dinner was good at the hotel restaurant but breakfast was too pricy. "

"This would be a great place to stopover on a roadtrip through the Lyon region. Pity I didn't have a car so had to rely on train which is 20 minutes away. However, it wasn't too hard to check out Lyon from here and was far cheaper than anything in town. The staff were brilliant, particularly the lady who checked me in who was very helpful and was able to communicate well in English which was appreciated. "

"The communication was difficult - the owner did phone once, but we were cut off. The property is untidy, pool is green and tennis court has had no use for years. Offered extra rooms, after the sleeping arrangements were terrible, we were then threatened to be billed extra to VRBO, somehow... The rooms had uncomfortable beds and barely a sheet on them, and towels were hard and ancient. Two cots were inadequate for adult use and the room had massive cobwebs everywhere. Breakfast was scant and mainly bread, some cheese and unfiltered coffee. We were charged €10 but the VRBO site says €5.... Once when sitting in the living room (I thought was part of the common area!) I was threatened that the police would be called. I would advise travellers to avoid this place until some kind of review is done."
