Smooth process, as advertised

Room was as described, great for a couple! Clean, convenient location to the beach and parking, smooth check in and check out process. Would recommend if you’re visiting the area.

Nice place would stay again

It was as described, construction inhibited us from opening the curtains, it was loud and restricted portions of the property we could not enjoy, everything we needed was there, We would stay again, Non construction of course

Perfect little place!

We really enjoyed our trip here. It was perfect for our little family. We have 2 kids and it was plenty of room for us this week. We loved the location of the condo. Being on the 1st floor was very convenient. The porch area was very nice to chill & relax in the evenings. Parking was very close by so it wasn’t a hassle at all to get loaded/unloaded for the week. That was a huge help with the kids. Overall we were very pleased with everything and really enjoyed it.

Great place and great location

This place was fantastic. We are an active family of 4. We knew we weren’t going to spend too much time inside, but when we did we had plenty of space to relax. The location on ground level made for a perfect location for a game of wiffle ball and frisbee. Location also made it easy to get to vehicle. Can’t wait to book next year!!

Beautiful Beach Stay

The room is in the best location for unloading the car and for making your way to the beach!!! The beach was absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed eating at The Beach House a few times. The food was delicious! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful rental!!!

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall was a great place to stay! Tons of stuff to do at the Baytowne wharf.. very close to the beach and pool. Only down side was it did get warm from time to time at night even with ac on 70. However I like it really cold when sleeping. Would definitely return!

Perfect fit for families

We have stayed in similar condos in the past but Usually up high. Staying on the ground floor was a change. It was so easy to get to the private beach. Especially with a family. Bette was very helpful and accommodating. Most importantly Miramar is a great low key beach. Destin is way to busy and reminds me of a carnival town. Plus. Seaside and Ally beach is only a few miles away on 30 a

A few things to fix...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has great potential to be a great place to visit. During our visit the patio furniture had rusted out from the salt air. Easy fix to replace. The flooring in the bathroom is needing to be replaced as it is filthy and water damaged. Outside of these minor repairs the ground floor unit was very convenient.

Great stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed here on business with my husband. I thought the property location was great and price was on point. This bottom floor corner unit walks out to an active "pet relief area", which can be very active. I am sure someone will complain but it didn't bother us. There was construction on the property when we went, again, didn't bother us but it created a lot of walk traffic for workers. Someone won't like that I am sure. Otherwise, the room was perfectly fine. Private parking, firm bed, great shower, full size kitchen, and plenty of towels for two. Complaining about anything in this unit would simply be nitpicking about stupid things. I would definitely stay here again.

Slightly Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the condo was in nice shape and in a great location. I was disappointed that small conveniences like liquid dishwashing soap (necessary since we were going to be there a week and only one packet of soap for the dishwasher was provided) or something to disinfect the countertops after we used the stove were not provided. I understand that you don't want to have to provide TP for the entire week, but we paid a fair amount for the accommodations and such things just seem chintzy. I am also disappointed in the VRBO user experience. Airbnb has redefined the home rental industry and if VRBO does not step up with such things as online payment and timely review options, they are likely to lose a significant amount of business. The condo itself was nice.

the place is good, but needs some maintenance

The condo at the first floor and facing place where people walk their dogs. It is only one spot right next to the building to walk the dogs... It is also close to the parking lot. So you may hear garbage removal track backing up and beeping at 7am. The mattress is average at best, sofa is dated, electric socket at the balcony is broken. I communicated all the issues to the manager Bette and I hope she will take care of the property. On the positive side you can walk to the beach directly around the parking lot and avoid crowds and elevators. You can also see some green. You have full kitchen with all you need. Kitchen is brand new. Condo has a lot of light from the balcony door and 2 windows. I have stayed for a long time in the winter. It was a good deal, but if I could I would have choose something on the higher floor, because the floor is getting colder and humidity is getting higher during the winter.

It was just Okay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So, we assumed, since this was a nice condominium, that all the condos would be up to date and fairly nice. But, we were shocked to see that this one was not. The kitchen cabinets were cheap and the bottom ones didn't seem like they were even attached to the wall. The supplies/dishes etc, were extremely limited. Didn't even have a bowl with a lid. The closet where the washer/dryer was located would not open far enough to get the dryer door open. The furniture was old and worn. The location was excellent and loved the patio even though that furniture was also old with weathered and worn cushions that smelled terrible. The AC unit could not be turned lower than 70 due to fear of freezing up. When the unit would cut off, the condo got very warm quickly. Had to sleep with No covers. I would stay at this condo again but never in this particular unit. The location ideal but did not outweigh the problems.

Great stay!

The prosOur stay was overall great! Wonderful location, close to tons of shopping, wonderful restaurants, so close to 30A, and we enjoyed the perks of Baytown wharf. Once the construction is done it will be fabulous to use the back porch to walk straight to the pool or beach. The consUpon arrival we didn’t have a code to get into the condo, just a building code and gate code. With this unit being on ground level we were very surprised that there was no window covering on the small 2 windows facing the parking lot. With there being construction men out there all day, it felt a little uneasy not having window coverings there. Especially when I went outside and looked up every unit above the ground had window coverings on those smaller windows. The last thing was that the condo could’ve been cleaned a little better, there was sand in the sheets when I climbed into bed and the overall cleanliness upon arrival could be improved. The manager was fabulous at responding very quickly and was quick to get us into the condo and willing to do anything to make us feel comfortable, including sending someone to put temporary window coverings up. Which we ended up doing ourselves so I did decline once we got it figured out. I would stay again and would recommend, but would also hope these things could be improved before the next visit

Short vcay

We had a great time, the unit was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Pool was wonderful. The beach is a bit crowded in July, but to be expected. Would definitely recommend this property. We love that it was easy access on the first floor, was just right for two friends.

Wonderful stay!!

We rented this gorgeous corner unit for a wedding we attended in Sandestin. The property was clean. The management team had top notch communication, and we really enjoyed the convenience of being on the first floor. We will definitely rent this unit again!

There was some pros and cons:Cons: Never received a gate access code to actual get into the gate apartment property or building. Thanks to other visitor willingness to share we managed to access. There was active construction and maintenance outside of the condo, on-going, so sleeping in was not a thought.The blindings had missing parts, and because we were at street level, we were able to look out to see people and they were able to look in to see us.Beach front was filled with rental chairs, eliminating room for people to actually in the beach. Pros: Condo was clean, condo access easy, very easy parking, beach access easy and with multiple options. Cozy condo, great for just 2 people, would not suggest a 4 person stay. Would I rent it again? Yes.

A bit disappointed

The unit I rented 4200, I don't think I was ready for rental. It had recently remodeled but the furniture was dirty and the blinds was torn The unit is located on the ground level so that was uncomfortable because our privacy was invaded.
