This family friendly resort is conveniently located over one mile from the Coffeen Nature Preserve, a 210-acre preserve that is home to scenic walking paths and a historic World War II missile-testing site that you can visit by reservation. Find the best sales and shopping at Grand Boulevard, one and a half miles north, or at the Silver Sands Premium Outlets, two and a half miles away. Looking for family friendly adventures and attractions? You can always visit the city of Destin, which is 11 miles west.

Great place for a family vacation

Steps from the pool and the beach in the backyard, this was perfect for our family. We comfortably slept 5 adults, two teens and a tween. Close to groceries and shopping. We will return!

We loved the updates! When we booked, the pictures showed older flooring/ furniture/ kitchen but when we walked in, it was so bright and beautiful! It felt like a penthouse with all the natural light and light colored decor! Felt like a real home with beautiful views!

Wedding destination

Here for a wedding. Very friendly staff. Condo very spacious and the balcony was extra large with comfortable seating. The view was spectacular. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning the floors but otherwise everything was just fine. The one suggestion I would like to make is to put non-slip mats in all tubs. They were slippery!!! Over-all our stay was great!!!!!

No sunset view from the balcony

The condo was very spacious but the view of the sunset was blocked by another building. This was very disappointing. The skillets were old and scratched formerly nonstick. I bought some to use. There was not enough silverware. I would not stay here again.

Beautiful condo

This condo was beautiful and perfect for our family. Very spacious living and kitchen areas. Large balcony. Great view of the pool and the gulf. The property itself was very clean. Pool areas were great including the bar and grill. Beach was not overly crowded. This is our 2nd year at the Tides.

Dirty and in need of repair

We have stayed at this resort before, but not in this unit. We enjoy the location because it's away from the crowds. This unit was spacious and has a lot to offer; however, it the condo was dirty (floors, furniture, even some dishes needed to be washed before use) and there were several repairs that needed to be made (stopped up drain in one shower, peeling ceilings, cabinets in kitchen falling apart, poor condition throughout).

Good Trip, Love the Tides!

This was our second trip to Tops’l. We had a great time. As previously mentioned there are a few cosmetic things that need attention (already in the works after peak season) but if you’re staring at the bathroom curling on vacation, you’re doing it wrong anyways. It didn’t affect our stay in the least, The condo is very spacious, the beds were great (the pillows are luxurious—but I am accustomed to sleeping with a flatter pillow, so you may consider bringing one if you’re like me) & the amenities at Tops’l are top notch. The kitchen had everything we needed (we cooked nearly every day). The Fitness Center has all new Life Fitness equipment (you know if you know) & even upgraded to have a squat rack, battle ropes and plyo box. There is a putt putt course included on the property. There are 3 places to eat on the property with good food. Can’t wait to see the upgrades made in this unit for next year.

Great view and layout, NEEDS UPDATES

Tops’l is an amazing resort and we have been coming for 20+ years. You take a gamble with individually owned units and unfortunately Tides 306 did not live up to our expectations. The condo has a laundry list of outstanding maintenance issues. We understand that some of these can take time to fix; however there are many that could have easily been handled prior to check in. One shower drain was backed up for a majority of the trip and the kitchen sink never fully drain while we were there due to the garbage disposal needing replaced. Several electrical outlets did not work in the bathrooms or kitchen. The kitchen lacks many basic necessity items including spatulas and other common cooking utensils. There is paint peeling off the ceiling and walls throughout the condo. The furniture needs replaced. It’s wore out, stained, and damaged from use. Several of the headboards are not attached to the wall or bed frame so be careful when making the beds to prevent the head board from tipping over on you. Overall, the condition of this condo does not represent the greatness of Tops’l. We love the resort but will not be returning to Tides 306 until the owner makes some serious improvements.
