We really enjoyed our 6 night stay in this condo. Impressive view from the wall of windows in the living & dining rooms of the Gulf, golf course & the resort. We especially liked the security of the complex, the location (walk to beach) & the 1 & 1/2 bathrooms in the condo. Everything was great!

Unit was nice, however there was not enough soap, TP, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and no cleaning supplies for a 2-week stay. Made several trips to grocery store.

We had a great time. The location was really good, however a little further from the beach than we thought, pictures make you think that the walk was a lot closer. The surprise of the unit was that was a half bath also, that really enhanced the unit. You should let possible guest know in advance, it could add value when guest are deciding where to stay. One important heads up, the mattress does NOT fit the bed frame, too small. It could be that the frame needs to be adjusted to ensure a comfortable night's rest for your guest. Would I reserve your location again, Absolutely YES.

We loved the view and the amenities. But there were issues that I made clear real quick with vacasa. The clothes drier was broke when we went to wash clothes. I emailed them multiple times and they just said they would note it. But never got back to me about contacting the owner or if it would get repaired... nothing. The queen bed was nice. But the sheets were for a full and didn't fit. They would come off in the night and wrap around our legs. And the bathroom door in the bedroom is blocked by the bed. So either bad design or small room. May need to do something different. Maybe like a sliding door. But overall I gave it a 4. These things made it a little uncomfortable. And I'm sure we won't get any compensation for the broke drier inconvenience. We had to wash clothes and hang them to dry. We looked like the hillbillies drying our clothes in this unit.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here. Overall, the condo and location was great! That extra bathroom was a huge plus. Beach chairs/umbrella were not provided so forget to bring your own. We left ours at home and ended renting a set on our last day for almost 90 dollars!

We were in town for work and pleasure. A very relaxing property. We really like the Hawaiian music playing outside the buildings. We would stay here again.

Great location! It’s walking distance to the beach. It’s extremely clean and very spacious for a one bedroom. Having a second half bath really helps. Good kitchen, with plenty of workspace. Some very minor issues that did not impact the quality of the stay- no cutting board that I could find, coffee maker but no filter, plenty of extra pillows but no extra pillow cases. Previous reviews mentioned issues with the wager and dryer, those have been fixed; it’s just loud. I would stay here again and recommend this property to friends and family. Great quality for the price. Very pleased overall.

This year was our first year booking and staying at the luau. We wanted to take a different route and not stay in a typical hotel, so we came across the luau the pictures where amazing but the prices and reviews sold us …. From check in to check out all went smoothly everything was super clean and very organized. The balcony view was amazing more then what we expected. Our kids were super please and enjoyed the heated pool along with the beach being walking distance.. We also enjoyed the restaurant called the beach house that’s walking distance on the resort….. keep in mind the luau is very private and not a hotel I was told from staff that they are all privately Owned overall it was the best experience we’ve had in the last 3 years vacationing to Destin …… we highly recommend booking with Vacasa at the luau ……. We will definitely be booking againg at the same place through Vacasa #greatvibes

Such a beautiful condo with a stunning view!!! It was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The new furniture is beautiful and the bed very comfortable. It was just a short walk to the beach and conveniently located near Baytowne Village and lots of shopping.

Everything was in good conditions. Just a few suggestions. It would be great if you can provide more blankets or a real comforter. We’ve got cold during night. Also, it would be very helpful to have liquid dish detergent for hand washing dishes. And last thing could be improved is a dust removing. We found a very thick layer of dust in the master bathroom under the sink. Overall, we liked this unit a lot and definitely would be happy to rent it again. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience with the rental company was great! Very responsive and helpful. However the condo was sorely lacking and Sandestin Beach Resort did not live up to the hype. In the bedroom you could not get the bathroom door open to even a 90 degree angle before hitting the bed. The master bathroom tub did not drain well, the sink hardly drained at all. The half bath toilet ran for over an hour before cutting off each time flushed. Kitchen ware and utensils were cheap and extremely difficult to use. The living room furniture is small and uncomfortable. The Luau building is extremely run down and not well maintained outside of the pool area. It is walking distance to the beach, but it is a long walk and the beaches were completely packed and overwhelmed. So crowded there were multiple occasions where someone else would be under the shade of our umbrella, or even literally touching us. The resort sets up at least 5 rows of rental umbrellas and chairs and not even half were being used. People on the beaches were rude, have no sense of personal space or respect. You could get to the beach at 7am and be 2 feet from the water and someone will come down at noon and put their chairs directly in front of you.
