Emerald Mist is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home in the Emerald Shores neighborhood. Centrally located in Miramar Beach, this home is in a private gated community only 525 yards to sugary white sands. Emerald Mist is prominently situated on a corner across from one of the neighborhood pools. This house features a spacious open floor plan and a fully equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Enjoy cool weather outside under the covered wrap around porch, upstairs balcony, or back porch! Lots of exterior furniture for your enjoyment! This beautiful home sleeps 12 guests comfortably with a king bed in the master bedroom, a king bed in the second bedroom, and a bunk room with two twin over twin bunk beds. There is also a cozy loft that has a sitting area with a sofa, chair, and a TV! Soak up some sun at one of the two community pools or enjoy some of the amazing amenities including tennis or basketball. Emerald Mist is sure to please, time and time again!

Emerald Shores is a unique, gated resort community in lovely Miramar Beach comprised of 95 stucco homes. This one-of-a-kind neighborhood boasts its own private beach pavilion with restrooms, showers and a sunbathing deck with chairs. Neighborhood amenities include a tennis court, basketball court, two pools (one seasonally heated) and a seasonal tram to the beach.

** Seasonal Armband Policy March 12-Oct 31** Guests over the age of 12 must purchase and maintain armbands to access Beach Pavilion, pool area and beach. Armbands are $30 per home and will be valid for one week; available for purchase at Pavilion.**

**The Emerald Shores Pavilion Decking Project will start on Monday, April 28, 2025 and go through May 13, 2025. The west side of the pavilion including the restrooms will be closed and blocked off during the project.  The walkway to the beach, shower and wagon area will remain open.**

**The Tennis/Pickleball Court resurfacing will start approximately May 5, 2025 through May 20, 2025. **

This beautiful home is located near Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nation's largest designer factory outlet featuring more than 100 name-brand designer stores.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017.  Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Perfect Location

Great house! That was our 4th time in emerald shores and this house was by far the most well kept! The beach setup made the whole trip! No waking up early to rush to the beach and reserve a spot, it was already taken care of! We will be back!

Graduation trip!

Emerald mist didn’t disappoint. The house is clean and has plenty of room! I love the balcony, where we would sit at night and listen to the tree frogs and the sound of the neighborhood. The neighborhood has a family atmosphere. Miramar beach was beautiful! We will be back! Also, no need to bring beach toys or boogie boards, the house has plenty! The two complimentary beach chairs and umbrella was great but you may want to bring or purchase more beach chairs. A cart comes around to take you to the beach. Tips are appreciated!

We had plenty of room. Everything was very clean. Enough towels for everyone. The gas grill was a plus!! The upstairs could get warm at times because as we all know heat rises and we were there during an extreme heat advisory. But the house had box fans in all the rooms so that helped out a lot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off emerald mist exceeded all our expectations. Furnished very nicely with plenty of seating for the whole family. Also very spacious upstairs and down just in case you have a rain day. We were a party of 9 and everyone had plenty of room to do their own thing. Kitchen was set up with everything you would need to fix a simple lunch or a full coarse meal. Exterior was well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Short walk to the beach was made even better by the furnished wagon to carry all our beach supplies. (Our stay wasn't peak time so the transit wasn't running) Security was very friendly and helpful at the beach. Communication was very good though the process. We will definitely stay again.

Great home, close to pool and beach!!

We’ve stayed in Emerald Shores 3 times and loved it each time! This is our first time staying at this property but will absolutely keep in mind for our next vacation! The home was very clean and exactly as described. Kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed for home cooked meals! The side door makes the downstairs shower easily accessible for kids to use after coming back from the beach. And laundry being right there helps keep any sand that may be left on towels and suits from being tracked through the house. Two things to make note of: 1. The back door deadbolt would not lock. The handle does lock but once you turn it to check the lock, it unlocks itself and you have to lock again. Possibly just an issue with the wood swelling causing deadbolt to not fully extend? 2. The fan in master bath does not work. Just makes a humming noise. Neither of these were issues we deemed necessary to contact management about while we were staying as they were not major issues for us. . But should probably be looked into!

Beautiful house next to pool with easy beach access

Overall beautiful house and location with easy beach access. Had few issues with appliances. Luckily, the property manger is very responsive. Issues with lack of pressure in upstairs hall shower (was easily fixed) as well as with the upstairs hall toilet which required multiple flushes/holding down handle to flush as it was slow to run. Was advised it couldn't be fixed but my husband (handyman) said it could be fixed but would require an extra part. Not a huge issue but consider buying extra part. Also, the washer machine is outdated and difficult to use. We had to rewash a load multiple times as it either wouldn't drain, wouldn't clean the clothes or the top wouldn't stay closed and we had to put something "heavy" on the top to keep it closed. We ended up giving up on doing laundry there. Also, the dishwasher needs some instructions as you have to push a few buttons twice to get it to start. A few other things to consider when booking: We loved the fact of having 2 king beds for the 2 couples going on the trip which were nice big rooms but the 1 room has to share the hall bathroom with the bunkbed room. Also, the glass shower slide door looks nice but difficult to bath toddlers in. Otherwise, house is right next to the pool which is great. Easy walk to the beach. Appreciated beach carts. Good kitchen tools and loved outdoor table and grill. Nice neighborhood. Good location. Close by stores/restaurants. Private beautiful beach access with bathrooms and loved beach chairs

Cleanest, most comfortable beach house we have ever stayed at!

This house was super clean, super comfortable, everything we needed was there - compared to all the other vacation houses we have stayed in (and there have been many - we are an 8 person family!) - This was the best by far! Short walk to the beach, right across from the pool! Close to WalMart and many restaurants - Quick note... there is no fitness center. There was a note in one of the descriptions I read that said there was, but there wasn't. Not a deal killer at all, but thought I would mention.

Peaceful Getaway

Our rental was great! The side terrace was particularly nice for us to have breakfast each morning in the shade. The location was perfect for us and it was just a short, pleasant walk to the beach. The beach pavilion was handy for snow cones to take with us on the beach, to wash sand off our feet, and to have Christian there on site to order more beach chairs, when needed. Both of the young men were very nice and accommodating. Our overall experience was great and all of us had a great time! We would definitely rent this lovely home again!

One of our favorite places

We love this house and it’s location. My family of five plus my parents joined us here. It is ideal for family. A couple things this stay gave us some trouble. Thr TV is the living room didn’t have working remotes & the AC on the last day stopped working. However the property is wonderful outside of those two things. We try and stay here when we come to the area.

The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils and dishes anyone would need. The walk to the beach only took a maximum of about 5 minutes. Our rental also had a wagon on the front porch that you can use to haul your stuff to the beach. Grocery stores, restaurants, etc are all easily and quickly accessible. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again. We had a great time!

Ended okay, but definely wouldn't recommend as a top choice

Furniture is old and worn out. You had to open the microwave from the bottom bc the handle was broken. Two of the bunks sheets were dirty, one bed had chips and the other had hair!! So we're checking in after 9pm coming to vacation but hv to wash linen before you can lay on it! Not to mention the comforters smelled like pee 😡 And the tissue holder kept falling off the wall. The house suppose to come with a golf cart, 2 beach chairs and beach umbrella, well its NEVER anyone around for you to even inquire about it so We never received it and stayed there for 6 days! Beautiful house but definely needs new furniture and linen needs to be pulled after each stay to assure you it'll get Washed instead of telling ppl to leave them on the bed upon checkout bc OBVIOUSLY the cleaning crew dont wash all linen! So for us that slept in the bunk room, we slept cold without cover bc I refuse to wash every single bed item for my stay. I was vivid. The next day I went to Walmart and purchased cover. We were a group of 10, all first time visitors to Destin and WOW what an experience! I will definitely visit Destin again, but I'll definitely find somewhere else to stay!!

Perfect Family Getaway

We absolutely loved the family feel of this cute beach village! We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children however sleeping arrangements included 2 adults sleeping on a couch bed. We knew this going into the rental, just something to think about when planning sleeping arrangements. The view of the pool is great. The walk to the beach is short (less than 5 min) and the wagon makes it much easier. Bring outdoor games and scooters for kids if you can! Beautiful place and location! We would definitely book again!
