"Let’s start with the negatives - there are none. This property comes with literally everything you need. From seasoning to straw hats, from pasta to privacy. It is a stunning home from home with the most breathtaking of views. Nestled in the hills above Frigiliana, La Quinta is pure sanctuary, hosted by the most wonderful couple who are incredibly generous with their time and attentiveness. From the booking process to ongoing communication and directions to La Quinta, our journey went as smoothly as could be, even with our late inbound flight, both Nick and Mannou were there to meet and greet us in the early hours. They even did some shopping for us so that we didn’t have to run to the shops, not that we’d have needed to; all the essentials were already there. La Quinta is a stunning Spanish Villa, almost Finca like, in a gated and quiet area. Parking is easy and safe as is getting unloaded and settled in. The swimming pool is fantastic, there is a BBQ, air conditioning, laundry facilities and a kitchen laden with every utensil possible. Both bedrooms are next to a bathroom/shower room each, one of which also has a bath tub. The lounge area is so comfortable with TV and all the channels you need in every language. We fell in love with La Quinta, and with its perfect hosts and we will be returning regularly, even out of season."

"Traditional Spanish home in the countryside overlooking the coast. Very peaceful and relaxing - we rarely went out - just lazed by the pool and barbecued on the terrace most evenings. Excellent for anyone looking to get away from it all!"

"Our family of 5 with older children (18, 16 and 13) enjoyed a fantastic week at Casa Jevanda. The villa has everything you need to self cater and the bedrooms are spacious with storage. The villa feels very private and secluded although you can see other villas not too far away. We loved the large pool with a deep end for diving in. Another favourite spot was the shaded area overlooking the pool. The 2 fridges were always filled with cool drinks! The drive to the villa involves some very windy roads- you do get used to it and the benefit is the high location with great views and secluded spot. Just but be aware that there is no local shop to quickly pop to, so be organised with your grocery shopping. We had great days out to Granada (90 mins) and Ronda followed by an evening in Puerto Banus (a slightly longer drive but worth it). We also enjoyed the more local beaches in Torrox and Nerja, as well as exploring the local village of Competa. Throughout the booking process the communication with Janet was prompt and friendly. We would highly recommend this villa but advise that the mountainous area requires a car and confident driving."

"We booked this villa for a family holiday. there was 7 of us in total including my elderly parents. We booked it from the photos that were supplied on the listing. These photos really don't do it any justice!! The setting is fabulous, remote but that is what we wanted however Competa is a 10 minute drive with all amenities including supermarkets and fabulous restaurants. The property is very traditional and gets uninterrupted sun from 8am to 8pm. The pool area is great and was well used during our stay. Our host (Mercedes) was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Our flight got cancelled on the day of departure and communication with her was very reassuring as we had to reschedule our arrival day but nothing was too much trouble. The whole family enjoyed their stay if there was any criticism it would be the lack of Air Conditioning. Our week had unusual high temps (35 degrees) daily which did not drop much during the night. However we understand that this one of those things and it did not affect our experience. We did see previous reviews which mentioned the road to the property. We rented a 9 seater minibus and it coped well with the terrain and we had absolutely no problem driving the route to Competa and Torrox Beach We will definitely be booking again Many thanks Beckham Family"
