"Upon arrival, we were told to open the large gates leading up to the driveway of the house. The gates were what I can only describe as something you would see at a 'haunted' house in really poor condition. Our first impressions were not great as the accommodation appeared very old and run down. As we approached the house, the ground were extremely unkempt: overgrown, unclean pool and the tennis court area had seen better days. As we opened the main door, we noticed the wallpaper in the hallway...

"This is a beautiful old chateaux-style building, which is owned and run by the family who live there. Sandrine and Frank are both excellent hosts and very friendly and welcoming. The location a beautiful country setting, next to vineyards. It is around 5 miles from the nearest large town. We decided to go out for the evening to the local town and Sandrine was so helpful in booking us a taxi and restaurant. "A wonderful stay and a wonderful host! An old mid-1600 building in thre old city. Wonderful restaurants near by. Owner makes a different breakfast each day and her food was excellent. One draw back, it is not for people who have trouble walking hp stairs, there are plenty. Plus, the taxi drops you off at the bottom of the hill and a short stteo walk to it."
