"I was surprised by how clean and well furnished the home was, as well as it's very remote location. The access road is quite bumpy, so drive with caution. It takes you all the way up the mountain, amidst the snowcapped mosquito range and several 14ers including the legendary Quandary Peak and Mount Democrat. The surrounding wilderness is Subalpine Fir/Spruce Forest with plenty of wildlife. During our stay we viewed White Tailed Deer, Moose, Chickarees, Golden Mantled Grounds Squirrels,...

"This vacation home was wonderful! Beautiful setting in a very lovely neighborhood. The home had a great open floor plan that allowed our family of 9 to gather without ever feeling crowded or cramped! The family room had a two story wall of windows that gave us a great view. "The house had everything we needed and more! The views from the front and back were wonderful. It was centrally located to Vail fun and our wedding festivities. The host was very responsive and professional. They put a lot of thought into every aspect of the house for guest enjoyment. It was very clean and I would stay again! "

"We had 11 family members ranging in age from 25 to 92. Fantastic house with 2 separate living areas and kitchens. Very warm and comfortable. Also the bus stop is right at top of drive which was great for our elderly parents. Would definitely stay here next year"

"Pictures do not give you the overall condition of the property. Toilet seat lid hinge was broken. Two drawers broken, so couldn’t use for clothes. Ceiling fan didn’t work. There’s a sewer type smell in the kitchen area. The couch should be replaced as the cushions have no support. If the owner would spend a little money on upkeep, this cabin may be worth it. I do not believe VRBO should represent this property until these issues are fixed."
