We had a great time for the first two nights. Then last night the fire alarm was malfunctioning and continued to go off from around midnight till I left at 645 am. Poor night staff was worn thin and were still very friendly. Randy and not sure of the guys name. But dean the assistant manager told me he won't apologize for his system working. Ahhhh... it was a bad sensor and needed to be replaced to not freak your entire building off. I was traveling with my 2 year old and 5 year old. They didn't sleep and were afraid. If I had extra funds to change hotel I would have. But I don't. Dean continued to be angry and dismissive telling me I wasn't being constructive and that he would end the call. I told him I was sorry and hoped he didn't have kids as scared as mine were. He got more mad. He said he would credit thirty but nothing else and take it or leave it. I called Expedia back and explained what he was saying at the hotel. And the agent called him back. He said he refused to do anything else but that he would add 50 credit to the 30 that dean would refund. But the weird thing is I checked refund status. It's half that . Something is amiss and absolutely not okay. Dean needs a new job if customer service makes him so angry.
