"I've stayed in this hostel for 2 nights while visiting Cartagena and had really good time. The room was spacious with nice view, very comfortable and I loved the walk in shower which was much better than some 4* hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, within short walking distance from everything. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to the city."

"Group of 12 ladies from the same family celebrating various birthdays. We needed an accessible villa and Villa Buena Vida was an excellent choice. Super well equipped both inside and by the pool for our wheelchair user to have a very comfortable stay. Rosie was so accommodating and helped with everything we needed. The villa is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice! Thank you Rosie for a lovely holiday home. "

"I wasn't sure about Portman due to the history of the contaminated beach. The only reason you would have thought to go is to see the contaminated beach, but don't let that put you off. The local authority is working to fix the forty-year-old contamination. It will likely take a few more years, but it is irrelevant because Portman has much more to offer. If you are looking for a quiet village beach holiday, Portman delivers. And, there is an absolute gem of a beach less than a kilometre away. Perfect for families with kids and two really good typical Spanish restaurants right on the beach, good food at good prices.The apartment was excellent, well-equipped and well situated."

"This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable. There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff. Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!! The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!"
