"This is an absolutely great place to stay in Wengen, right near the train station. I booked a single room, but was put in a double room with a balcony overlooking the main street of the town. The room was comfortable but basic and deficient in electrical outlets (none by the bed), but the overall feel of the hotel was somewhat luxurious, even though it is just a three star. The buffet breakfast was probably the best that I've had in Europe. The dining area was huge and the selections were tasty and plentiful. The onsite restaurant also had good food, although the service could be inconsistent. This place was well worth what I paid and Wengen is an excellent base for exploring the Jungfrau area of Switzerland."

"This is an apartment not a house (in case you thought so based on the description). Overall it was in good condition. The terrace with view on Jungfrau was nice. The beds were comfortable but I wish it had bigger duvet and more pillows. If you arrive by car be aware that you need to leave it in Lauterbrunnen (this is what “parking nearby” means). The communication with owner was good and the instructions were clear."

"Lots of ventilation with windows and french windows on both sides. We knew the spiral staircase was a killer especially carrying suitcases up and down. After a long day out it took the strain to get up to the flat. Noisy bar and takeaway ( well into early morning) but got the window closing and opening to a fine art. Thanks to all concerned."
