"The room air conditioner was not on when i arrived at about 6.30pm. It was a west facing room so the room temp was 90 so it finally cooled to 70 the next day. The first night was a Hot night!"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lindale by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"I liked that this property was at the end of a drive with wooded area on two sides, it was quiet, but yet very accessible to I 20.
Breakfast the next morning was filling with something that we appreciate here in Texas, biscuits and gravy! Along with that, Plenty of other selections."
"The only thing that keeps this from being all 5 stars is the pool was closed. The next time I’m in Lindale I will
be staying at the Springhill Suites."
"While on the small side as Hampton Inns go, this place was well-run. Plenty of cookies upon arrival and the take away brown bags upon departure.
The rooms were clean and the mattress was firm with lots of pillows. We appreciated the Keurig coffee pot and pods. Breakfast was good enough, and the kitchen fridge had additional free water bottles.
The carpet in the lobby was a little worn and the leather on the lobby chairs was deteriorated. Overall a very good place with good access to the interstate."
"This was a great place to stay for a week of relaxation and fun with our extended family. The lake house is well-equipped with nice amenities. Morning coffee on the expansive front porch looking toward the lake was the perfect way to begin each day. The cute town of Mineola is nearby, with parks, golfing, restaurants, and shopping, as well as the nature reserve. Five stars only because that’s the most allowed!!"
"We just got back from the most incredible stay at Jerob’s Place, and I can honestly say it was one of the best family trips we’ve ever had. This home was perfect for our big, multigenerational family. Our younger kids were completely obsessed with the Avengers room. They couldn’t get enough of the superhero pictures and were absolutely thrilled by the hidden treasure room, arcade, playground, and even a costume closet. The grandparents in our group spent hours on the back porch in the rocking chairs, taking in the peaceful view of the trees and marsh, listening to frogs, and just soaking in the quiet. They loved how easy it was to get around outside—from the house to the playground to the pool, it was all smooth and safe for both the littlest walkers and the more seasoned ones. For us parents, the house was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully set up. The oversized dining tables (inside and on the porch) made gathering for meals and games super easy. The kitchen had everything—we didn’t need to bring a single appliance, and the coffee bar with a grinder and French press was a wonderful surprise. The waffle bar setup was such a fun and appreciated touch too.The pool area really sealed the deal for us. It felt totally private and safe, and the setup with a shallow end and deeper was perfect. We loved every minute and are so thankful for the memories made here. Can’t recommend it enough—we’re already talking about when we can come back. "
