"Great hotel right next to JR train station. Excellent service from staff. Over the top polite and courteous service to guests. Rooms were little larger than normal Japanese hotel rooms. Hotel lobby on ninth floor of building - hotel sent email prior to checkin with directions to hotel."

"This is a wonderful location, just across the street from the Kyoto train station. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The price is very affordable for this convenient location, which made our travel much easier. Highly recommend. Rooms are small, but perfect for an overnight stay. "

"Great location. Walking distance to the tram and the Main Street. Parking is a bit confusing, need to use the parking lot next to the hotel, not at the hotel building. Then ask the front desk for a discounted parking tickets for the specific parking lot. Little bit complicated. "

"Super convenient location next to the Sakuramachi bus stop from the airport bus line. It is also a 5min walk to the red and blue line bus and shopping arcade with lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was really helpful in arranging extra days for me to stay (since I was there during the typhoon). Stayed in the Kumamoto room which was really cute! Maybe if they gave a couple themed Kumamoto cookies it would have been perfect. Would stay again."

"My 2nd visit to Japan, but my first visit to Nagasaki. What a beautiful city and well worth a visit. From paying your respects at the National Peace Memorial Hall and seeing the Atomic Bomb Museum etc. Let alone the ropeway up to Mt Inasa. I stayed 3 nights, but could have done with another night. The Hotel New Nagasaki offers good value for money in a central location. Also, very convenient to nearby the Railway Station. The staff were all very helpful and polite. My room was large, clean and spacious. With a comfortable bed. For the price, breakfast was good value. My only negative, was the charge (2000 yen) to use the fitness room. Which only had limited equipment. Needless to say, I didn’t bother I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel New Nagasaki. "

"After 3 days of the hotel room checked out, my husband found out that he had left a wedding ring in the room, I rang up and contacted the hotel, the staff called Airi ANDO, replied promptly that the wedding ring was found and still keeping it for us, she also arranged a shipment service for delivering the wedding ring to my home in U.K. It was amazing and thanks for all staffs in this hotel who are such professional and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again for our next stays in Kumamoto."
