We had relatives from Italy with us and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it. "This is a beautiful older home and I loved its charm. The wrap around porch is so quaint. However, the listing mentioned steep staircase but not to the extent that it was actually unsafe for my elderly parents. You can literally step out of the bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor and tumble down the stairs as the stairs don’t match up to the doorways. There is a bedroom on the 1st floor but the bed is pushed against the all so again my mother couldn’t get out. Also there are only 2 claw foot...

"Stunning views of the river and the game room/home theatre was perfect for a passing rainstorm and at night. Felt secluded but also close to shopping and restaurants. Host responded quickly and was responsive. Feedback about updates (i.e. carpeting, upholstery cleaning, cookware) was welcomed. There were two one-seater kayaks which was different from the description but plenty of life jackets. Good fishing spot off the dock!"

"This is great for fit younger adults and older children but it proved daunting and dangerous for this active, nonetheless frail, elderly person. Both tub-shower arrangements were inaccessible (too high) for me due to my physical limitations. There are no railings up the front steps. That would have been OK except for the gap between the steps that "grabbed" my cane and nearly sent me tumbling. 20 years ago--even 10 years ago--this would have gone unnoticed by me.
