"Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, we had a lovely meal in the river room which was turkey and ham so delicious. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Our room was excellent a standard twin with two big double beds, the room was super clean. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool. The staff work so hard and are a credit to the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The reception was a lovely smell when you arrive. The only thing which was disappointing was the horrendous smell in the ladies...

"Lovely hotel, room in general was great, only issue was temperature. Really hot and no way off cooling on radiator or any control panel."

"Great hotel, clean room, beds were comfortable, staff attentive and friendly. Location great for us."

"Would happily stay there again. Family all enjoyed the gym! Very helpful staff. Good breakfast"

Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option...

"Very nice staff"

And the water temperature swings were insane: it kept alternating between freezing and burning every 10-15 seconds. And then the second point was the mattress; not exactly comfortable.
