"Was a great experience, cozy and quiet."

"Everything was wonderful! Our hostess, Dellene had gone to great lengths to make her property clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing (we thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of her antiques and unique decorations). The bubbling brook running through the back of the property was so tranquil we immediately felt the tension leave our bodies and started relaxing as soon as we got there. We loved every minute we were at Dellene's River Retreat and hope to return one day."

"James and Sylvia did a great job making us feel welcomed and comfortable. Super communicators. So many special touches with a bottle of wine, basket of snacks, plenty of coffee and tea. Every room is like a step back in time. So much to see it's like a mini museum. The bathrooms are adorable. Beds were comfortable. Everything work perfect. Super clean. Our group was 4 retired friends. The location really was perfect for us. Quiet and close to fun hikes. Chimney Rock and Hickory Gap Nut Falls...

"This is a great house for a long weekend in Asheville. The home was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location to all the Asheville activities. The owner was super responsive and incredibly helpful during our stay. Only thing to note is that the house is on a pretty busy street, not an issue but just something to keep in mind if you have kids and/or pets with you. Overall, we had an excellent time and would stay here again!"

"We loved the property! It was perfect - welcoming the moment you unlocked the door. The hosts have provided comforts that you find in high end hotels - towels and bedding are amazing along with the goat milk toiletries (my favorite brand) Beautiful neighborhood and surroundings with roses and a water feature. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed."

"Great place for a relaxing vacation. Close enough to all the hikes we were doing. Then we were able to come back and hop in the hot tub. About 15 minutes away from restaurants but keep in mind a lot close around 3pm on sundays. Small incline for the drive way but not on a busy road. Lots of beautiful plants around the cabin!"

"My husband and I are moving from Texas to Maine and this was much a needed relaxing stay. The cabin was very accommodating, and we loved morning walks and fishing in the lake. Beth was very helpful in our late arrival and we will definitely be visiting again."

"This home appears to have had a major upgrade to the entire interior. It is as cute as can be. Exterior is dated but please don’t judge this home by its exterior. The walk-in shower is a plus as were the plush towels and linens. The home is well stocked with all essentials. WI-FI works well and the LR has a Smart TV. It was a joy to stay here and are sad to be leaving this morning. Great place, extremely reasonable cost for a place minutes from Asheville,NC"

"Love, love the area! I used to live in the Haw Creek neighborhood years ago. My favorite part was the bay windows looking over the hollar. The house and property were perfect. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. I also got to see wild Turkeys and black bears! I would highly recommend!"

"I took my mom to Asheville for Mother’s Day for a long weekend. We went to Biltmore and the outlets while we were there. The property was as pictured it is off the beaten path although it close to town. We did see wild turkeys and black bears but did not feel unsafe. Even my dog slept good and she struggles with relaxing when I travel. Definitely would stay again. Everything was clean smelled good and accessible."

"We had a fantastic time! It is a green oasis in the city close to all attractions! We had a wonderful gas fireplace which came in handy since it got down to the 30’s during our stay. Great comfortable bed! The hosts were extremely attentive and we received sparkling wine and even a birthday cake!! We will be going back in the future !"

"Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....
