"The Driftwood Inn is not for everyone, but offers real value and very comfortable accommodations. For most rooms the bathrooms are shared - given the modest number of rooms per floor, sharing was never inconvenient. The rooms are of modest size, so not a lot of space to spread out your belongings, but each room has a functional work table and chair (unlike many more expensive hotels). Each room is equipped with USB(A/B) ports, often combined with another appliance or multi-outlet adapter. In short, it has everything a traveler needs, and little superfluous amenities. Beware that the provided in-room coffee makers can be finicky (or just do not work) but the hotel provides free 24-hour coffee. "

"If you book a room here, pay extra for the bay view. You will walk in the room and say "well, this is a little small and shabby" but then you will open the curtains and see the million dollar view and it won't matter what the room is like. The room is definitely clean though, that's important also. We enjoyed our time here. Skip the restaurant, it's overpriced and subpar."

"We have stayed here a few times, and it is always great! My kids love the upstairs and having their own space. We love having our own space downstairs and the convivence of the food and coffee places next door is top notch! WE will defiantly be back next summer!"

"My husband and I wanted to stay here forever. What a magical place. The views are outstanding, the kitchen is fully stocked for a long stay, and the bed was so cozy and comfortable. I love that you can see the mountains from the bed. The only complaint I have is regarding the shower. The shower head is very high up the wall and impossible to adjust. As a shorter person, I couldn’t escape the water blasting me in the face. But I’ll take being blasted in the face by water if it means I can be in this cabin! If we ever make our way back to Homer (which we loved) we will definitely stay again! "
