At first I was a little put off. I thought I got a giant cup of vanilla soft serve with a smattering of goodies on top...but then I was enlightened to the fact that the toppings were layered like a parfait! This beast probably contained the equivalent of four or five Reece's peanut butter cups!

"Great place and location to marina for charter walleye fishing. Very clean and easily sleeps 9. Back porch is on the lake and is a great place for winding down after a long day of fishing. Front yard has a large gathering area to sit around a fire on cool nights. Would highly recommend if you have a bigger party. "

"The house worked well for our crew. Location was nice. Our only negative was the owners entered the house while we were working without notice. Nothing was missing, just should have let us know before entering. "

"My stay was very pleasant, the home was a cozy clean place. I only had just a couple of things I would suggest is that you maybe put in plug ins because the house reaked of older home smell. And to maybe add another television to one of the rooms. Other than those things. This home gave me a chance to spend time and see most of my nieces and nephews whom I hadn’t seen in 3 years or more, so I say thank you for your cozy home. My family came together to give tribute to my mother for Mother’s Day...

"My family and I stayed here while birding for a few days at Magee Marsh and Ottawa National Nature Preserve. It was a very convenient location for both of those places. The house is small, but laid out nicely and there was plenty of room for the 7 of us because of the bunk room which was great! We really liked the sunroom in the back as well! "

We enjoyed the peaceful views of marshland birds right from the property, which made for a serene and relaxing experience. "The first room I was assigned to had a very foul odor, but Todd at the front desk was extremely kind and accommodating and switched me to another room.Thank you Todd! Once I was moved to a different room, everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable. They even extended my checkout time. Overall great stay for the price. "

"Excellent hotel, great staff especially the valet staff. The irons and ironing boards where poor. We tried 3 times to get a useable set and gave up on ironing a dress. Everyone of the staff tried very hard to help. We had a clean room overlooking the Mudhens baseball field. Great view!"

"Sarah, who checked me in was both pleasant and terrific! She is also a fantastic multitasker! Matt had a very contagious and congenial disposition. I watched him maintain composure and professionalism while being tested by a rude guest with an unreasonable request. He made sure our stay was to our liking! The Hot tub is nice and big. The pool area closes late for adults. No kids allowed at 10p to close! I couldn’t believe my ears! Amazing! Every hotel should do this! The refrigerator in the room is nice and cold. Breakfast is solid. The gentleman that managed it was fast and polite. He never let any food run out. M&M cookies greets every guest. Bedding isn’t in the rooms for the sleeper sofa. I found that to be inconvenient. Fitness room is well-equipped with a water cooler! Ice machines are plentiful and in great working condition. The swimming pool is advertised as heated in the amenities section of the Hotels webpage. It was cold. Jumping in was a SHOCK to me and the kids. The room is stylish, comfortable and has great blackout shades. "
