"Great value! The hotel is located in walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof and the Belvedere museum. The room was a bit small by American standards but had a great view of the city and had everything we needed."

"Just for any families booking this hotel the set up in the family room is absolutely not suitable for young kids - it’s a pretty dangerous bunk bed with steep steps. The temperature of the room in the top bunk gets very hot and we visited in April so I can only imagine it in peak summer. The bar is open to all and it’s 24 hours and as the lift to the rooms isn’t dependent on a room key in practise anyone can go anywhere in the hotel. Having said that the price is great and the staff are lovely but this is far more of a hostel feel than a hotel. "

"Convenient location, but lacking in cleanliness and service. Le Méridien is close to major museums and Karlsplatz station, making it very convenient for getting around. However, the hotel feels outdated, with dim hallways and aging infrastructure. Cleanliness was inconsistent. I was given a bathrobe with stains on it and had to ask for a replacement. The room also had issues with old wiring that made clicking noises, which I got around by avoiding certain light switches. The shower pipes also made a constant loud, almost drilling sound. When I asked staff for help, they not only dismissed the noise levels by saying it wasn't that bad, but told me there was nothing they could do until the next morning. I eventually fixed it myself by adjusting the shower knobs, but I would have expected the housekeeping staff to know that and be more helpful. The hotel also seemed overbooked and a bit noisy at times. Overall, a convenient location but not up to expectations for comfort or service."
