"This place is such a hidden gem. Though a truly historic Inn with a long history, Sabrina and Patrick are helping turn it into a travel destination. The building dates from the 1840s, but the rooms are squeaky clean and quiet - even though it is an all wood building. And the grounds, with a beautiful setting in Lake Canadarago, chimeneras, docks into the lake, is completely refreshing. The on-site bar and restaurant tempt you from leaving (although the restaurant was not yet open for the season when I was there), but the Innkeepers are the real reason this place is worth checking out. They are attentive to everything and want to ensure your visit to the House and the area are the best it can be."

"The rooms are very modern and clean. Location is perfect, walking distance to Main St. and all of downtown as well as the HOF Museum. Nice lobby amenities for snacks and breakfast. The lady at the front desk was very kind, super friendly and did her best to figure out our Roku TV that we couldn’t get to connect to any live shows for news or sports. The Roku channels were just replaying outdated repeats of prior broadcasts. Other than that, highly recommend to stay here. "

"Location was perfect for walking. Didn’t have a refrigerator in my room. Staff was great!! Front desk, dining, housekeeping and maintenance came promptly to fix the tub. Everyone was pleasant!! Thank you to the maintenance worker that congratulated me on my baby girl’s graduation from Harttwick School of Nursing!!!"
