"Not easy to find on arrival, but near the beach, the sea and the aquarium. Walking distance to restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and gave us pointers for places to visit during our one-week stay. The beach itself is well-protected from the winds and beaches in Eastern Crete are also recommended on windy days. Our favorite restaurant was Ambrosia."

"The villa had everything needed for a wonderful holiday for our party of 10 people, age range 10 years to 70 years. The location is superb, set in the hills above Elounda with the most amazing views of the town in the distance, the island of Spinalonga, the turquoise sea and the mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and plenty of lounge areas. The pool was great and so many relaxing areas outside for sunbathing and relaxing. "The property was well equiped, spacious and just right. Lovely views. The pool was well maintained and big enough. It is deeper than many, but ideal for adults. A short walk, uphill unfortunately, but downhill after the night out, to the village. With 2 excellent restaurants. A small shop, a bakery and very friendly people. We were sad to leave. Owner extremely helpful and informative at all points."

"John and Flic's villa is clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Every possible need is covered including a welcome pack to get you going, a fab utility area for washing your clothes, well equipped kitchen, good wifi, TV with Netflix and a lovely (and private) swimming pool. "We were 3 couples on a sampler trip through parts of Europe. This house was a highlight of our trip. We loved the view, the pool, the friendliness and responsiveness of the host, the usefulness of everything in the house. We had a couple of small issues but when we told the host, they were going to get them taken care of. It was hard to leave when our time came. "

"A truly wonderful villa. Nothing much to say other than it looks even better than the photos, has everything you need. Comms with Stefani were great, check in/check out super smooth. We loved it. "Stelios and Maria were very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. The accommodation offered us everything we needed and was well located for trips to the beach, Heraklion and the airport. Some good recommendations from Stelios so try those out. We had welcome gifts when we arrived and Stelios’ parents next door also kindly dropped in some fruit. Enjoy the sounds of the countryside and the cicadas and make the booking. You won’t be disappointed."

"We were met by the owner on arrival & briefly showed around, we didn’t arrive until 1am so I’m not sure if he was tired but he was not very welcoming. The only welcome pack was 2 bottles of water, there was wine there but he advised this was €12 a bottle. He also advised that the gas to the cooker was turned off, so on a stove there were two rings for 10 people, which would never be enough. It was also not clear on the information that 4 of the beds were so separate with no access to main...

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"
