"Con: Water is not drinkable. Many families with small children - this can be a con or pro depending. Pro: Staff are nice and the property is beautiful. The food is excellent. There is a decent gym and an adults only pool (although I am unclear on the cutoff for this pool - 13 years old?). Overall, nice property and I would stay again."

"This was the perfect location , just across the beach with all the amenities needed close by including food, restaurants and markets down the street 10 to 15 minute walk to everything. Hotel was fantastic, especially made our 30th wedding anniversary a special night by decorating our table and making it a memorable evening and fantastic service by Toula and Vassilis ♥️ Food was superb including a large selection for breakfast."

"We love the royal blue. It’s our third visit to this resort and it doesn’t disappoint. This sister hotel next door royal senses is also great and has water slides which is fun for the family. The beach is also really lovely and great for snorkelling and swimming."

"A wonderful experience at the Syntopia. The staff were friendly and attentive without being formal or overpowering. As an example, the person on reception who checked us in remembered our room number a week later at check out! Had an amazing massage at the spa and made the most of the pool and roof top bar every day Food was fresh, tasty and varied every day"

"Everything was simply perfect. From the beautiful pool-access room to the exceptional kindness and hospitality of the staff, every detail felt special. The hotel manager personally walked us to the dining room on our first visit, and Nikos from one of the hotel’s impressive restaurants was absolutely amazing. The spa is also fantastic and even offers hairdressing services. Simply wow. If you’re visiting Crete, don’t miss the chance to stay at OROS. An unforgettable experience!"
