"Room was beautiful and very clean, very well maintained by pleasant staff. Staff at reception were very welcoming and extremely helpful when dealing with our requests. Staff throughout the hotel were extremely efficient and made you feel very welcome. I would certainly choose to stay there again because of its excellent location in the historic centre of Malaga and because of the very warm welcome by all staff and the beautiful layout and furnishings in the hotel."

"Beautiful hotel and great pool and spa. Lifeguard couldn’t do more for you with towels and parasols etc. checking all was ok. Very slow service for drinks at the pool. Stated was my husband’s 40th on the booking during our stay but nothing acknowledged which was disappointing but otherwise a really beautiful hotel with great location and services."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is clean. It is a stunning viewpoint every window overlooks a beautiful view. The only downside is that the swimming pool is outside of the hotel complex so you have to walk outside of the hotel along the beachfront and then into a gate using your key card to access the entrance. The pool is only open from 10 am so you end up sitting in a queue full of people to get in. The poolside is not very well maintained and is dirty. The pool bar only serves minimal food, pizza, chips or hotdog only. The hotel itself is fantastic. The children’s Club is fantastic. The rooms are large and new and clean with everything that you need. The food is exceptional having stayed in other hotels like Club med and five star hotels in the Caribbean the food is on part of this. The only thing that lets it down is the pool access and the poolside floor which is filthy."

"Very nice area we enjoyed the scenery the weather was just perfect !! We enjoyed watching the coastal line light up at night just beautiful.The staff was very kind and helpful. The shuttle bus was very helpful . Very polite people."

"I stayed one night at Hotel ILUNION Málaga after extending my trip and deciding to try a different hotel. I’m glad I did. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. The lobby has plenty of comfortable seating areas, and as a dog lover, I appreciated the treats available for pets at reception. Check-in was quick and effortless, and I was able to upgrade my room for just €20. One nice surprise was the complimentary minibar. It’s not stocked like a Vegas high-roller suite, just a few waters, soft drinks, and snacks. But it definitely came in handy. The fitness facilities are excellent. The gym is well-equipped, and the wellness area includes both a sauna and steam room. They also have showers that alternate between hot and cold water in 20-second intervals, which either makes you feel rejuvenated or briefly question your life choices. The pool is larger than expected and even includes a swim jet for swimming in place. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a bed that made it difficult to get moving in the morning. I didn’t have a chance to try the hotel bar or restaurant, but both looked inviting. After checkout, the front desk happily stored my luggage for four hours while I enjoyed one last walk around Málaga, which was a nice touch and made my departure much easier. Overall, Hotel ILUNION Málaga delivered a great experience from start to finish. Comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, friendly service, and a convenient location."
