Welcome to this spacious penthouse in El Faro, perfect for the large family who wants a large pool area, large terrace and being close to both Fuengirola, La Cala de Mijas and Marbella.  The area around the apartment is quiet with a couple of restaurants and shops within walking distance, here there are also several lovely beach bars and beach restaurants along the Mijas coastline. The apartment has access to a large and well-kept pool area with sun beds and a small bar. The property is less than 20 minutes from Malaga airport and 5 minutes to Fuengirola where the train goes to Malaga every 20 minutes. Nearby there are also grocery stores such as Mercadona and Lidl. When you step through the apartment, you are greeted by a large and social living room with a cozy sofa group in front of the large tv and a dining area for up to 6 people. Further in, you have a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, coffee maker, toaster and much more that you may need on holiday.  Further out from the living room you have the large terrace spread over 2 floors, downstairs you have a lovely dining area, sun loungers and lounge corner. Upstairs you have a grand solarium and sunbeds. The apartment has 3 bedrooms where all 3 have double beds and their own A / C as well as blackout blinds. There are 2 bathrooms. The apartment is otherwise fully equipped with A / C in all rooms, dishwasher, washing machine, free parking on site and much more. Worth mentioning is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor without a lift.  The cleaning fee includes one set of bed linen and towels per person. Baby Package €39: including cot and high chair, on request and subject to availability. The courtesy set is provided only for the beginning and not for the entire stay.
Pools have very different opening times, please inquire before the booking to make sure the pool is open during your stay.  

In accordance with current regulations, due to the drought in Andalusia, the use of water for filling and topping up swimming pools is prohibited from October 1st. ALL SWIMMING POOLS will be CLOSED from September 30th, 2024 until further notice.

Amazing views

This property is lovely but could be amazing.It just needs a little extra TLC. There is everything you need for a lovely holiday. The views are fantastic and the location is great, although a car is advisable.There was an issue with hot water on arrival which took a while to solve but contact with Costarentals was good and it was solved after a while. The balcony was huge as was the roof terrace. I sent a couple of photos to costarentals to let them know about the minor issues. It would have been nice to have an information booklet about the apartment. There were some notices on the back of the front door.We would stay at the apartment again. The two pools and the pool bar were lovely but every apartment has to provide their own sunbeds. They are nearly all locked up. There were only 3 allocated to our apartment which was an issue as there were 5 of us. These things have been fed back. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and if a couple of things were sorted the place would have had 5 stars overall. .
